I really enjoyed the demo and have pre-ordered both games. I agree that the 15th to the 22nd will be a very good week for us space game/sci fi fans

Ahh, I just looked and the authorization did go through on the card, so I'm no longer worried. I guess I'll get an email with download instructions when the game is released. Will I still be able to pre-download files next week?
I actually pre-ordered 2 nights ago, but it sounds like that might still apply? I haven't received any emails since ordering 2 nights ago. I just did a serial number lookup and all of the serial numbers that were found were only for: the original Gal Civ and the drengin.net upgrade which I purchased when Gal-Civ first came out, as well as the Stardock component program (I think that is what it was called.)
I guess I'll try to find the support email. Thanks for the feedback, everyone.
I foolishly ordered while on my laptop (which doesn't have a printer connected.) However, I kept the window open, so I'll at least write down the order ID tonight when I get home from work. Thanks for the reply. At least, I know it wasn't just me

I pre-ordered the game late yesterday evening. The final screen with my order ID said that an email would be sent to my account with a copy of my receipt. So far, the email has not arrived. Should I be worried that there was a problem with my pre-order, or is this is the standard operating procedure.
I also recently upgraded to Drengin.net (the day the extension was announced.) Now, my metaverse scores aren't being accepted. What should I do? Should I re-register my player with the Drengin.net serial number as the above poster did? Do I need to email the above email or will a fix be announced? Thanks for the reply.
I've upgraded the game to 1.03 and it won't work still. Perhaps because the game was started with PQ ability, or maybe for another reason. I'm just not sure why it worked the first two times (in the beginning of April) and now it won't work. Oh well, off to enjoy the new improvements in 1.03.
Yeah, I tried finishing the game on 1.02 for consistency sake. I'm now going to upgrade to 1.03 and then try to finish the game and see if it accepts the score.
I hadn't updated to 1.03 yet because I wanted to finish the game on just one update before submitting it. So I still have the now nerfed PQ ability, I wonder if that is why I can't submit my score? (I guess I'll try updating to 1.03 and see if that allows me to submit the score)
I have this problem two, and I suspect it might be because my game has the PQ ability which has since been nerfed in 1.03. I'm wondering if you all have the PQ ability in your game and that might be why it isn't accepting now?
I started a game several days to a week or two ago and it was on version 1.02xx with the PQ ability. Now I can't seem to get it to accept my score into the metaverse (I didn't want to patch the game when I was almost the whole way through the game.) I have entered two previous metaverse scores with no problem. Is the metaverse rejecting my score because my game has the PQ ability?
Anyone have any other ideas why my metaverse submission is not working this time?
sorry about the double post, my browser kinked up and I rehit the submit button
I already tried that (re-registering my alias), and then replayed the finish and tried to resubmit with no luck. No matter what I do, it won't accept the score and only shows my 2 earlier games on the metaverse list.

yes, it shows up with my "remembered" alias and email.. I'm wondering it is not accepting because I had picked the PQ bonus which has since been nerfed and maybe that is why Metaverse is not accepting that game? I don't have any altered files or anything.
I'm finishing up a long running game in which I started on Version 1.02xx. I finally won the game and tried to submit my score to the metaverse, but for some reason it is not being accepted. I've had 2 previous scores accepted with no problem and I'm trying the same alias this time. Any ideas what is wrong?
The ships are built and put in orbit around the planet that built them (unless you have autolaunch turned on which is in the lower left quarter of the planet screen.) If you do not have autolaunch on, then you need to go to the planet screen where the ship was built and click on the ship you want to send out of orbit (this should be on the lower to middle right side of the planet screen.) Hope this helps.
I went to perform this fix and to my surprise discovered that the terraformer already has an ID# of 12. I wonder if this was fixed in the most recent patch (another bug that was fixed but forgot to be listed perhaps ;) )
If this is the case, that is very good to know :D I haven't seen it yet, but I had been holding off playing for the last day because I had heard of this bug. I knew my enemies had a lot of colony ships earlier but that could be just from leasing quickly. Now I can resume playing and just make sure I keep autolaunch off until the bug is fixed :)
Based on the fact that people have reported the AI having hundreds of constructors in a sector, I believe the AI does use Autolaunch and unfortunately it is making the game nearly unplayable until it is fixed.
Is there a workaround to disable the colony ship and constructor ship bug from autolaunch (to stop my enemies as well as myself from using it?) I have off this weekend starting now and am really looking forward to playing this weekend, but don't want to do so without a workaround or patch for this bug.
