Just in case no one has already suggested this. I can see version 1.03 will have a proper tech tree screen. Can you add something to the tech descriptions to indicate what their relative value would be when trading with other civs eg. M2 = Military level 2 (nnn BC to complete resaearch). Also can you change the colour of trade goods and wonders in the selection lists to make them easy to distinguish from normal social projects.

I agree with the original poster get a proper tech tree built into the game and allow the user to select the best path to a particular advance etc. Javascout's work is great but its a pain to keep alt-tabbing to get information that should be available in-game.

The whole issue of AI cheating will never be resolved until a reveal map cheat is available, until then we can all speculate as to whether the event can be explained away by somehting we were not aware of. Yeh, these graphs fooled me as well, they actually show how much of your resources you are commiting to an area of your economy relative to the AI empires. The only really useful one is population which shows the true ongoing picture, not the relative growth on a turn by turn basis. IMO these graphs are fairly useless apart from giving you a clue when an AI power is investing heavily in a certain development area.

IMHO I think the AI is cheating, they got alliances off me via a third party and within 12 months they had created a massive AI alliance and I cant get close to the only other civilisation who is not in the alliance. Also this other civ is at war with the others and has been for ages !!!!

Same thing happened to me. Some how the computer insisted that it wanted to play from a playlist even when it was not selected. To get the music working again simply copy the music files Space01 -05 from the music directory to the playlist directory.
