When Umberdroth hide appears as a crafting item, the hotscreen that appears when you hover over the item to reveal its modification effect reads "UnlockCombatAbility" rather than showing the actual impact (e.g. Attack +1, or whatever it is supposed to do.

In the crafting recipes screen, when the Legendary Amulet artwork is the same as for the Legendary Ring (i.e. a ring rather than amulet image).
Just wanted to report that when casting Vorpal Longbow as a Tinkerer (any size map/number of opponents), the Longbow appears but is labeled as "Vorpal Blade" in the unit box when it comes time for its action. Really enjoying the game and each update! EDIT -- Should have added updated to Beta 5.4 -- sorry!
Works for me, and your asking once again confirms why Stardock continues to earn our support.
Endless Legend and Civilization Beyond Earth. Also picked up Sorcerer King during Stardock's Autumn Sale just beforehand, and so far it is my favorite of the bunch!
IGN has given DA a 9 out of 10. IGN says, "Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar joins a growing (but exclusive) list of awesome expansions that we've seen over the last year or so. Where most expansions are simply mission packs designed to "extend" the game experience for hardcore fans, Dark Avatar is an expansion in the truest sense of the word, bringing loads of new features that take the core game experience into new and exciting directions." Way to go SD! <img src="http://images.stardock
Add me to the single-player list. With a family, I don't often have the time to play for long periods; I am much more likely to get in a few turns a night or a few hours on a weekend. And I find I use the game to have time to myself. I don't have to worry about etiquette or anythnig else. If I don't like the game, tank it and start again without upsetting anyone else. My biggest lament is the lack of quality single-player experiences, and GC2 has
I don't understand that response. What's the point of "saving" a game only to have it trashed through the back door. Better to have in-your-face bugs than malware.
My note is on the way now. Will also try to contact Ubisoft. What a shame, since I loved the original HOMM series, especially HOMM3
Gamespot has given GC2 a 9.0 (superb) rating...as those of us who have it already know. The biggest criticism was no multiplayer, but I would trade that off against the great single-player experience any day (and sorry if this repeats a post elsewhere).
Design a great game, communicate with the player community, price it right, and treat the customers like partners with a shared goal of a terrific gaming experience...you get Stardock and GCII. Now if we could only persuade other developers to adopt your model
Looks great! Almost makes me sorry I already have the game
Glad to see a great game is getting the recognition it deserves. The only problem now is managing time between GC2, Civ4, family, food and work (sleep went long ago).
Ordered from J&R but now told item is "backordered" with no expected delivery date -- bummer . Would do direct download from Stardock, but I'm concerned that now I won't get access to the Collector's Edition content, as the download would not be a pre-order. Any thoughts welcome!
