I know the feeling:))) You can try, but I don't if it is working for you.... My setup is in danish, but find personalization and background - change from slideshow to image/picture. I really don't why or how it could help, but it worked right away. I have had Fences for 8 years and never had this problem before.

Hi, I also got this issue after a company security update (Windows 10, Fence 3) and my first suspicion was a security issue as we are subject to very strict rules through company policy. But since I am not allowed to change anything, I could not solve the problem myself .... until I remembered a conversation thread in this forum that had this problem due to "slideshow" on their screen. I switched from slideshow to image .. and bingo - I could activate fences again. Jahuu.
