Not only do I remember Pong, I remember the Atari 2600! I also had an Atari 800 Computer. It was just a Keyboard comptuer that hooked to your TV. You could get an optional External 5-1/4" Floppy drive....Wow!!! Ahhh yes, the good old days of 8-bit computing :)
Hello, I am currently playing with your Mod installed and loving it. My only complaint at this point is the that there are too many icons. I dont think I really need icons for fighter groups running around all over the map, its kind of too much with all the other icons you added to the game. Is there way to either make the fighter, ship, resource, fleet, etc icons an option or eliminate some of them so the map is not so crowded with them? Thank you again for all yo
[quote]For the record, I am running an Intel Core 2 Duo and like I said above, both cores are very busy during my entire play session. There is a Gadget for the Vista side bar called the Multi-meter and it keeps a graphical representation of CPU core usage and RAM usage and I simply drag that over to my other monitor to see what a game is using. I think its one of the most usefull Vistsa gadgets out there. It SHOWS you that it's using both...but it's very possible that one core is being used for

Nvm, I installed it wrong. did not copy the textures file over, just pasted in yours.
I etiehr installed thsi mod wrong or this is something wrong with it because when I enable it, it crashes everything in the game and I cannot even see the buttons to start a new games....just a big blank white box.
Please forgive my newbness, but after downloading this mod, installing it and activating it in game. I started a new single player game and I did not notice any difference. How do you get mods to work?
Nice work and thanks for your efforts....It will make my games that much more fun.
I have had everything enabled including bloom on my Geforce 8800 since day one with no problems at all. This is on a Vista 64bit system though, I wonder if all you guys having problems are on 32bit systems?
While I did not play in Beta, I perused plenty of screen shots prior to buying this game and they looked pretty good. I have a high end rig so I cranked up all the graphic settings to max and while the graphics are ok, they are not as jaw dropping as I expected them to be. Ships blowing up suddenly go from undamaged models to chunks of rubble in a flash rather than breaking up slowly as I would expect. Is there plans for graphic updates or a DX10 executable/options?
I just bought a copy as well. I am a long time Stardock customer and love playing GalCiv games. You wont be dissapointed and the cool part is that years from now, you can still download Sins and play anytime you want. Stardock lets you download games that you have purchased forever.
