Its only now that the Vasari and Advent come busting down the door are they fighting. Even then the TEC are united in their cause to survive. Heroic and Noble IMHO. I dont consiter the Advent human. They have progressed far beyond that with their experements and drugs. I guess its all in how you look at it.
Well, the TEC brough
Why must my ship go from stationary to full speed while making a turn? Why don't they just turn then move? Too many times have I seen my ships make huge, wide-arcing turns when I told them to move 180 degrees. Some ships can pull this off, most can't. Please change. An example. The rectangle is the ship (The top is its forward facing), the blue dotted line is where it's ordered to go and the red line represents the course my ships usually take. Ship
hmm personaly I dont think the game would be well suited to a campaign, it was obviously designed as a massive (and I think primarily single player) skirmish game and thus making a campaign could be hit or miss
Indeed. I just don't think this particular game is well suited for a campaign. IC would have to massivley expand on Sins paltry lore, which would be cool but a lot of work. Without sufficient lore on the r
Hmm, it's correctly spelled 33 times while misspelled 4 times. I seriously doubt fixing those four misspellings will affect anything at all. More likey is that IC took out spawning turrets on militia worlds. Edit - It only calls for turrets for owner "PlanetOwner" and not owner "RandomMilitia". So I don't think it's IC's intent for them to have turrets. /my $0.02
After reading the bug report forums, I decided to make this small bug fix mod. From the readme; Install for Entrenchment- Place VarekRaith's Bugfix Mod Entrenchment in your UserName/AppData/Local/Ironclad Games/Sins of a Solar Empire/Mods-Entrenchment v1.03 Folder Install for Vanilla - Place VarekRaith's Bugfix Mod Vanilla in your UserName/AppData/Local/Ironclad Games/Sins of a Solar Empire/Mods-v1.17 Folder. Thanks to Pawelo and ovi-187 for
@ Rez Yeah, you have to put them in the GalaxyForge folder. Why? I dont know. SINS is just being a brat. I may have to put it in time out. Then again no one puts SINS in the corner.
Wouldn't they show up if you added them to a 'galaxy.manifest' file?
The thing is with campaings is that they take too long, unless tech prices come down and the income rates go up, there is no way we can really have campaigns, games are already longer than they should be in multiplayer...
So? Campaigns are meant for SP not MP.
Wow! Nvidia and Stardock teaming up to make sure video drivers are up to date, and to help that very complicated process along. Complicated? You download a file and run it, then reboot. Big whoop.
Heh, I've seen enough DxDiag reports from various technical support forums to show that quite a few people don't keep their video/sound drivers up-to-date. It would be nice if Stardock could make a deal with RealTek & Creative to allow Impulse
#1 - Ummmmm okay. Lame. #2 - Why is this of any other countries conern? #3 - Gee, why single us out? The other 190+ countries of the world do too! #4 - They pollute less than what most of the Chinese and Indians drive, again why single us out? #5 - WTF is that about? Conform or die? To that I say, f*** off world. #6 - Yep. We're the only guzzlers of oil on the planet..... Gee, singled out again! A pattern emerges.

Bug Report: All races superweapons don't have proper impact sounds. Soundfiles make a clicking sound.
Forums Go Boom! Damn double post....
The Minidump is caused by the BuffBonusDamageWave aspect of the Power Surge Ability. EDIT: I fixed the bug. Raging Amish, you need to add an 'entity.manifest' file to your mod. There is one in the Entrenchment folder. You need to modify it to include 'BuffBonusDamageWave.entity' and increase the entitynamecount at the top +1 to 1060. Here is the fixed file. Install it in the Raging Amish Balance Mod folder. Put this file outsi
DrJBHL, am I to assume that by posting that vid, you believe the US should not fight at all? You do realize where that naive line of thinking eventually leads, right? so the only way to "win" in a sense is to bring about a new way of thinking in all humans, which is not poisoned by propaganda, religion, politics, institutions, and opinion. Except, that is not, nor most likely eve
Personally, I think it was way too premature on their part to call for a gg. Which was made obvious when they lost. [e digicons]^_^[/e] Are they the type to carry a grudge against you guys, or is all good?
Was it your intent for Dead Asteroid, Wormhole and Magnetic Cloud Mines/Neutrals to not support adjacent Refineries?
EA seriously needs to take a hike. Damn, I hate publically owned game companies/publishers whose shareholders know jacksquat/don't care about games. /mini rant
Embargo bugfix; BuffEmbargoSelf.entity Fixed Code: maxTargetCount Level:0 -1.000000 Level:1 -1.000000 Level:2 -1.000000 Lines 59-62 should look like that. The bug is that Level1 and 2 don't have a modifier.
Here you go, Vanilla v1.17 and Entrenchment v1.03 Ref files; http://www.filefront.com/14455933/Vanilla+Entrenchment%20Ref%20Files.rar
Some minor bug fixes to cap abilities you might also want to include. File 'BuffReactiveNaniteArmor' plays the wrong sound file. Should be 'Effect_ReactiveNaniteArmour' not 'Effect_EMPBlast' ** File 'BuffEMPBlastSpawn' does not play a soundfile at all. Should be 'Effect_EMPBlast' **Remember the 'u' in Armor!** All around, I like the changes. [e digicons][/e]
