OP, your best course of action is to contact and see if you can work something out. And to some of the others, some places really don't have disposable debit cards and the like. Some online stores won't accept them (I don't know SD's policy on disposable debit cards, BTW).
Your bank account would be the least of your concerns in a situation like that.
Biggest.
Now guys I know I played it up as the next update the pirates will be badass and all (and they will to a degree) but a well developed and highly researched defense and fleet can easily still beat these pirates. The key was to make you worry about them more so that they play bigger role in the game. That pirate fleet that I posted was also the upgraded type and I ran over them with a capped out fleet of 3750 pts and 32 caps with full research.[/quote
LOL KICK ASS BEAM ATTACK! One shot kill eh? damn that's a nice gun you got there I remember when I first saw this in the movie and was like... wow...
Well, it is a modified Vorlon Death Ray afterall! Though, will it have the same draw backs as it did in the show? For those who don't know, after that beam was fired, the ship lost all but basic support systems for 1 minute.
lol in a nutshell... what I said
I know. I just simplified it. And Ryat, I can confirm that the Advent's 'High Efficiency Jumps' research makes all jumps anti-matter free. I researced one level of it and jumped a Halcyon all over the map. It never lost antimatter to jumps. Mind you, I did have the 'Jump Stabilizer' artifact (Or whatever one reduces antimatter jumps by 30%). I think it's adding the -75 of the research level 1 to the -30

After getting caught up to date with Entrenchment, I decided to look for some mods. This is just what I was looking for. First off, AWESOME mod, great job to all invloved. I have some problems though. I'm experiancing frequent mini-dump things, which then means I have to alt-tab out of the game, which then makes it crash. Is this just
Sins will be on steam as soon as Valve offers his titles for Impulse. Steam also has an annoying DRM shceme. No thanks! Quote from Kyro on 2-29-2008
Putting Sins on Steam would be require us to abandon our stance on copy protection and DRM--Hassles just to run games offline, a loader that wants to run all the time in the background, and disc checks on retail copies ON TOP of the online DRM?
BTW that skill of the battleships to open jump-points. That made me think that the ultimate defensive weapon would be to open jump points right in front of on-coming enemy ships and jump em away against their own will... lol
In the B5 movie 'In the Beginning', the Minbari opened jump points in the middle of one of our fleets, destroying most of it. In a regular season episode, Sheridan opened a jump point inside of another jump point, destroying a Shadow Battle Crab.&nb

Of course this isn't probably updated like your current version Ryat. lol But gees when I saw that fleet heading towards my planet I grabbed my main fleet and got it there quickly. Well, I editied just the damage bonuses in gameplay.contants as per the changelog. With that alone, I like what I'm seeing in-game. One thing I would like to see fixed/looked at closely is the Vasari's Phase Gates. Phase stabilizer nodes seem rather quirky. Sometimes they work off the bat, other times they take >10 minutes to become useable.

Is the Advent's 'High Efficiency Jumps' research working as intended? At max level (6), it reduces anti-matter lost to jumps by 450% ... That doesn't seem right. After 1 level of research, jumps are free.
I can understand making games easier for the casual crowd. OK, I can deal with that. That's what the difficulty slider is for, god-forbid I buy a game that doesn't have one! What annoys me about most games today is that they are mind-numbingly short . Hell even some Western RPGs are heading this way. The other issue is most games have almost no replayability. The reasons above are why my main genres for gaming are 4X and RPGs. At le
Might I recommend adding these to the mod? They are bugs in vanilla, but are easily fixable. BuffDisruptiveStrikesSelf - weaponClassForWeaponPassive "BEAM". Should be "FLASHBEAM" BuffEmbargoSelf - constraint "IsCargoShip" maxTargetCount

As a personal rule, I keep the number of duplicate software to a minimum. Anyway, I'm certain this isn't browser related since the thread in question displays properly as I type this post. These boards seem to be rather quirky as of late.
Using Firefox v3.5.3, it loads most of the last page of the SGI thread. However, at the bottom is a large gray area. Using IE v8, It doesn't load anything on the last page execpt the first line of the opening post. Conclusion, Firefox is somewhat messed up displaying the thread, while IE is completely fubar'ed.
