Quoting Allegiance86, reply 34I find the lack of attention on the smurf issue from IC to be astounding. They know that their MP is coming apart and smurfing is apart of it. Why get online and play against an ass when you can just set the AI to hard and atleast get a semi good game going. Smurfing has hurt the game, but it isn't the real factor that pretty much killed having reasonable online player counts for Sins. In fact, i
Email , they may be able to resolve your problem.
Curious. Well, I'd send the suspect autosave to anyway, with a message of what happens with that save. Sorry for not being very helpful.

It also warns users that personal data might be "accidentally" sent to Microsoft (which is a big thing). I don't know what sort of data Spynet gives Microsoft but without an opt out choice I can't see myself installing it. There are better less in
I've begun to look at the 1.18/1.04 changes and right now I'm still looking for a way to convert the vanilla 1.04 files into text mode so I can properly compare the old files and see where changes are. I get a crash when running the new convert exe... so stuck for now. I was kind of hoping to leave 2.5.4 as the stable version for now.. but with 1.18/1.04 and the imminent Diplomacy expansion looks like I'll be forced to focus

Alright, I got the file and cast it a couple of dozen times. No error! *knocks on wood. Kitkun also had this problem I believe. Edit; Why did this seem to happen only a few of us?

Really? Ceilos are rare? Is this SP or MP. I play SP. I find Ceilos to be an essential part of my TEC Fleets. But perhaps you're right about the turn rates. As for the thread title, I only pointed that out because some find that word to be very uncomfortable. Dammit, I'm hanging around too many PC people...
Blair, the Nano Hull Repair ability doesn't play its sound correctly. I have no clue why. The entity file seems correct. The sound file itself seems correct, works in Winamp. It also throws up a 'can't create hardware buffer error'. The sound files are all in the correct directory as well. Is this .ogg file encoded differently than the others?
Remembers Homeworld. "Fleet, we're getting our asses kicked out here!" Would be a nice addition.
IMO, TEC cruisers weren't buffed because of just how good they already were compared to the others. EDIT; BTW, I'd consider not using such a thread title in the future. Scares off people. [e digicons][/e]

Not having planetary guns/missiles is completely and fantastically unrealistic! /my $0.02But everything else is fine?
For the most part, yes. See, you can somewhat explain away most of the 'science' in Sins. I just can't explain away why nobody on those planets/or IC thought 'let's target
Cool, thanks. I'll try that as soon as law school's out.
Law school?... BEGONE SATAAANNNN! JK Now back on-topic. First impressions on the new pirates. They are powerful. Probably too powerful for the AI (3 hard, 2 unfair). The AIs, on all difficulties, just don't build enough defenses . The pirates just cut through them like paper. They also lose an insane amount of ships trying to oust them (Pirates k
indeed I figured as much Hmmm... found this to be interested while playing the Vasari... the Devistator's jam weapons ability is on perma cast... meaning if it's already on auto-cast it will continually keep casting it until antimatter runs out. From what I'm guessing there is some flawed code with the ability or something that is causing this... CAUSE normally the ship only autocasts it during a battle when it would actually b
