It would seems the low to high resource setting is severe I play high resource that is why i guess i experience the abanduace of resources, making getting credits the only strategic thing I have to do economically :/

I think as is in a game with both human players and AI players, the humans would be the bane of eachother, and AI would reign supreme
Fighters are useless as is imo I may not be the most advanced sins player, but I dont see their pourpose. I think bombers should be siege weapons and fighters ship to ship to bomber to fighter :/ This would make bombers still useful at taking out structures and planets. A good thing to have in any offensive fleet, especially if you are impatient that ti takes so long to destroy shipyards/mineral extractors
ouch just thought it might actualy be cool to have a system where you could place stuff on the black market for other people to buy. Maybe the AI will have a hard time handling it. But for multiplayer with human vs human it could be cool. I don't know about that
Yes making resources a bit more rare sounds like the way to go for me too. It should be that u will more likely buy the resources than sell them if you are at war all the time. Because war takes up resources
A Ha that's what they are for then... But my biggest gripe is selling of resources to get credits. I think it will be hard for players to strike proper balance for a while :/
It depends on a person. I think it will be possible to inflict a mortal wounbd on the enemy. Weather they decide to keep playing till the enevitable resolution, that's up to the individual :/
I would have to say my favorite would have to be not TEC.
Do not be concerned with the number of fighters/bombers per squadron. It's easy to mod so I assume they made it a low number for beta only.
Hmmm I would say if such features were introduced then only as a researchable tech. In the early stages this would make things too easy I think micro management should exist at the start of the game as far as battles go. Later stages, you are right it gets messy. Even with 50 ships on each side, I try to take out the enemy capital ship and then I just let it go on as a huge mess of things.
Colony ships are liabilities because they are targetted first! Altough when the enemy is about to be wiped I jump one in to have em go for it and get torn to bits

I would love this too, a single system in a gravity well. Maybe cap it at 5 planets and some resoruce asteroids. Asteroid plaents would count as planets for this pourpose. And a nice sun in the middle Of course we would need a balck hole for center gravity well to travel between systems of wells (ie galaxuies)
I would love modding of gravity wells so that one gravity well contains a whole solar system
I would possibly love an alternate map design where a gravity well isn't a planet but a whole solar system. With few planets tons of asteroids star in the center. And all the wells were grouped in a galaxy at the center of which woudl be a massive blackhole that you would use to travel between galaxies. The options for Bounty seems to do nothing. Select no bounty and the AI wills till put bounty on you. I know it's beta and maybe it wasn't meant to work. Just want people to know. I thinkt here was one more toggle that doesn't work :/ Not sure thou which it is.
The background owns I love space that's not black. Overall this game reminds me a lot of Time of Defiance. Never got into that game, maybe I should give it anotehr go

If you upgrade the asteroid, two buildings appear after it gets enough population, you can watch the little ships fly back and forth. This is correct. Of course not possible on a Dead asteroid. Dead asteroid heh, i didn't know there were alive ones :/
@ABOVE POSTER Funny thing, i scuttled them, and for some reason they were rebuilt or reapeared near my shipyard :/ I was hopping scuttling would send em back to the planet.
So far I havent finished a game It's mostly because I am playign all these turn games on the net and I can't alt tab out of sins anytiem a new turn comes on so I have to reboot.
I dont know about the sound could be a sound driver issue But I'm pretty sure the ships are meant to jump by going to the closest side so they arent blocked in by planetary defenses and can bypass choke points Also helpw with retreating and when you have to send help to anotehr system real fast!
