Fences current state of development in Fences Stardock Forums

Recently, Fences has undergone a large update from fences 2 to 3 and has added numerous amounts of features and things to tinker with. However, I feel like I am beta testing a product I paid $10 for. That isn't very much money and I just wanted something to customize my desktop with, which is what I received but at this point I feel like I am managing this program more than I am using it. These two programs don't quite behave with each-other, and one either ends up on top of one another. Is there a way to order Rainmeter to be in front of specific applications, such a fences? Or vice versa?

This is on a fresh install of Windows 10. I literally don't understand how more people aren't having this issue, either that or they are just putting up with it since its an easy fix every time it happens. Ive already made a support ticket a while back, and no solution was found.

I would appreciate being able to tune the fences color based on numbers, not just sliders. Also, perhaps optimization for certain screen resolutions so that if there are fences spanning the entire monitor, they would take up the whole horizontal space and not leave cracks on the edge or in-between. I realize I can do this by disabling pixel spacing and not keeping fences to multiples of icon sizs, 3x3, 2x2, etc... however that is not really an elegant solution.

Yeah, same issue I am having here. More or less a bump, and to see that this might be an issue with certain operating systems or software conflicting. I also noticed the issue happens when trying to run an app within a rolled up fence as admin, so it seems like the entire bug is related to the right click context menu.

No, the issue is still occurring, however I did narrow it down to a repeatable method. Its when you save and delete files from your desktop though the right-click context menu. Try saving a 4 or 5 files from your browser to your desktop, and try deleting them with the right click menu. This happens regardless if the fences are rolled up or not.

Have you tried setting the icon size on the desktop with "Control + Shift + 1/2/3/4"? (Using Windows 10, not sure if it matters) I personally roll with Ctrl + Shift + 3 Icon size, personal preference. I have never tampered with icon spacing in the the windows options, so its entirely possible the error only arises with use of that. Also, you can go to Task manager and highlight Windows Explorer and select "Restart" on the bottom to refresh the icons and stuff on the desk

Are you positive? Last time i tried to install something alone the lines of that, only half of the features loaded, and the other half were default windows shell appearance. I guess I could give it a try, but its gamble for me, since I really only want it for the dark mode - and there doesn't seem to be any Windows 10 specific versions out there. I was hoping that the default package would contain such a theme, since its a popular and creatively easy to create
