The UI is as streamlined as should be. Have you noticed how strategy games lately do all the stuff for you? It's incredibly boring to have the computer play the game for you at both ends. I can't believe all the changes, it's almost like a new game. Feels much more "solid" now. Oh yes, the new ship design options have made the process so simple, it's unheard of. I thought it was illegal to create something so user friendly! Brilliant. I know all the ship components intimately now.
