Regarding the Borg, I think the reason they don't take asteroid fields is because they have no ships that can do so. At least, not as far as I could see from playing as them. The only way to do it is by building a unicomplex near them and upgrading it to have the assimilation ability. But even then, you don't gain any income from them, so taking them is moot except for the purpose of depriving the enemy of them.

Found a bug, the Borg can build Romulan V-8 Warbirds right from the start.

Why? The mod isn't out yet, and there is no news to report. Why try to kill the buzz?

I have SFC 2 and 3 (3 sucks pretty bad), and I like how the gameplay and universe is set up. I'm fully behind the idea should you decide to carry forth your plan.

I dunno, it looks kinda like the Cardie starbase from Armada 2.

I spent countless hours playing it. That was with super mods like SoA2 though. The only designs I can see being of any use is the pulse/torpedo turrets that each race had.

That's an awesome Klink starbase. Very imposing, unlike the abomination from SFC3 or the atrocious Unity One.

Hmm, I concede it never actually occurred to me that people would buy Sins specifically for the mod. But even so, that shouldn't have any bearing on Major Stress personally; he doesn't work for Ironclad and therefore has no stake in the matter.

The PR/Customer thing only applies if they are selling a product. Since they are not, it is completely within their right to not pander to the masses. The public can either accept it, and move on, or don't accept it and leave. I'm pretty sure they don't care what freeloading kids think of them or their mod; they're doing it for themselves, they just happen to be releasing the fruits of their labour to the public as well.

Yes I would. But only after maxing out fleet supply research and building a fleet to match it. And pray that it works.
