Indeed, I tried to downloaded 3 times and every time I get the same error message, I am uninstalling now v3 to see if the problem goes away.

What would be the purpose of creating a cloaking and then creating a device that can detect cloaking, at the end you can see the ships. So it would be a redundant technique. On the other hand if you want to have some technology that belongs only to one race, like a minor having the cloaking technology and you adquiring it by invasion or trade, that will give your race a boost.

Bug in game in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I don't know if anyone report this before, but when you go to invade a planet and this planet is protected by a ship in orbit, if you click on the planet it will show that you have a ship in orbit, if you double click on the ship and then double click on the planet, the ship will leave orbit allowing you to invade the planet without having to fight the ship, has anyone seen this on their games?

Up at the top of this forum, someone metioned that you can't build banks right off, I believe that you should research the technology to allow you to build anything, I my opinion you should be able to start with the spaceport and then start developing your technology and then you choose what path you want to follow.

What about if you can colonize a planet and find couple of squares where minors are living, as a result they become a colony of your with wich you could trade, and after + number ofd years they could be assimilated or they could assimilate your planet if you leave it unnatended, don' t build enough things buildings etc, causing the formation of a new race!!!
