What would your thoughts be on a ship designer in the main menu, instead of forcing you to load a Quick Start if you want to make cool designs? The Main Menu editor could give you everything researched, but it'd be up to you to balance them with availability of early-game weapons and modules. I believe this could further improve the Steam Workshop submissions since it'd be easier for those with less powerful computers to design ships, plus the option is always nic

New player, hopefully I'm just missing something. In every 4X I've played so far, it's possible to move units via 1-9 on the keypad. In GalCiv3, by default 1-9 on keypad moves the camera. I found the keybinds in the Input settings, but I don't see any options to move ships. This seems very odd. Anyhow, is it indeed only possible to move ships via the mouse? Thanks.

I have a question regarding the empire tree. Since tab only works for sub-selection when the empire tree is unstacked (right?), I find microing larger battles is best when stacking is turned off. But two things really annoy me. One is that once my fleet gets large, it is hard to select enemy targets as they are scrolled way off the screen.
