I see Sins having a likeness to the Great War in the path that it is apparently taking. In the first game you see a fully geared up TEC, a still strong Vasari, and the fresh Advent. In Entrenchment all sides are set up for a stalemate and predictably not much ground will change hands, or it will change hands so many times as to make no difference. Why not just make it Peaceful vs. Warlike? A peaceful society would benefit from better trade, relations with other races, and defensive technologies (armor, shields, pin-point). Warlike societies on the other hand would benefit from better mining of resources, weapons technology, and higher counter-espionage. I may be getting ahead of the development team, or this may have already been suggested, and if so, my apologies. One thing I'm sure many people would like to see when creating their own empires is the ability to choose and create their own race 'portrait' and symbol. Would it be possible to create a folder for each of these and be able to put .JPG or .GIF files in there and be able to select them from a pop up list of thumbnails on the screen? I did, but it only came up with my original GalCiv serial number. I sent an email to stardock with my purchase invoice number thingy, so they could resend it to me. Any idea how long it will take to get a response?=P
