Looking good! When will it be available?

Not quite sure what this does. I have tried every scenario I thought would invoke it with no luck.
I am sorry but even when I click on the "Keep open (sticky)" button its still the same. The X is always there as well as the selection border around it no matter if the setting is enabled or disabled
...but nothing changes until you click an app! I really don't understand why you don't see this. Please bear in mind that AltTabby was designed to be different; not to be exactly the same as the default Window
When then pressing Win + # the mouse can still focus the window I hovered
Windows default Alt + Tab focuses the app you are hovering over it. It just doesn't show a selection box around it. If you look closely, the title bar of the app hovered over changes to a lighter shade and the close (X) appears on the thumbnail.
but I accidentally hover over a window, I end up somewhere different after those three presses than I would have otherwise. That is exactly the problem.
I don't understand why "Keep open (sticky)" feature turned on doesn't solve that issue. It may not be exactly the same as the Windows default Alt + Tab, but it will stop you from accidentally going somewh
You can achieve what you are asking for with a custom hotkey. Make sure "Stay open (sticky)" is On.

A few things I've noticed in 2.8.0.0 (Windows 11 Pro - 25H2 - 26200.9278) With the Enhanced taskbar enabled and "allow windows to control taskbar position" With Top Aligned, either center or left start button, there is no right-click context me
Yeah, playing around I stumbled on those combinations as well... the one nitpick I have about the Start11 implementation is that when paired with fences and docking the groups with roll-up to the bottom, with the OS version the taskbar boots right into the position I want (left) and the groups stay aligned to the bottom edge... With the Start11 version, the system boots and the taskbar is momentarily at the bottom before moving to th
Very nice! Letting Windows control the position of the taskbar even with the enhanced taskbar enabled is a really neat trick.
Is this still the current guidance, don't use the new OS taskbar options..?
If you want to use the Start11 Enhanced taskbar, you need to leave the OS taskbar setting at the bottom. If you disable the Enhanced taskbar and turn on the "Disable Taskbar features..." you can use the OS to change the position of the taskbar while still using the Satrt11, Start menu. I've tried it and it's really not that great comp

No worries. We're just glad you got it resolved.
I am also running 26200.9278 and have applied the 2026-08 .NET Framework Preview Update (KB5122385), and have no issues with Run as Administrator as you describe. I am using the Windows 10 style, but I tested using the Windows App style and did not experience any issues with the apps you described. Is the UAC dialog not showing when you select Run as administrator?
Microsoft PowerToys introduced a new module yesterday called Window Hopper and it's decent, but can't hold a candle to AltTabby. I took Window Hopper for a test run and was not impressed. AltTabby does everything it can do and so much more. The innovation at Stardock is really on track to provide software for the future! AltTabby, Connection Explorer, and Clairvoyance, just to name a few. Thanks Stardock for all your hard work! pelaird
I've been working on trying to get a Start11 v2 background image to match the desktop background in order make it appear 100% transparent. I finally got pretty close and used photoshop to correct a few areas that were off. Start11 only uses 86% of the image chosen starting at the top left corner, so it makes it difficult. You can find My trials and tribulations here. (
Yes. Very sad. She'll be bringing her joy and music to everyone in heaven. :'(
I used the Split tunnel to exclude the Spectrum mail servers and it seems to have worked. I see no issues with my financial websites. Thanks again for all your help. pelaird
Cloudflare WARP can whitelist or blacklist websites using Split Tunnels. You can configure WARP to bypass banking sites while still using WARP for specific blocked or private sites. This is officially supported and documented by Cloudflare.
Thank you, I will check this out today.
I have the same issue when trying to get to my local banking sites. I just turn Warp off to get to those. And, I only turn Warp on when needed. I have no idea if there is Blacklist option in it.
Thank you Basj  Unfortunately I have my email open all day and it checks for mail every 5 minutes. I didn't try any of my banking sites. I went to the website, but I couldn't find any type of blacklist
After spending some time experimenting, I managed to get pretty close. I started the capture at the top/left of the Start11 menu, but then drug really wide and all the way down to the bottom of the screen. If I had more real estate at the bottom of the screen, I could probably get closer. I hope this info helps.
Would like to suggest using CloudFlare Warp. Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
I downloaded and installed Cloudflare_Warp. I t worked great on the internet, but unfortunately my ISP is Spectrum and they block it when accessing their email servers. Is there a blacklist of some kind that would force certain sites not to use Cloudflare_Warp?
This is what I see. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong, but I think it's that chamfered corner that's causing the issue with the perspective. The first image is the original icon with a perspective wire frame. In the second image I changed the perspective to match the wire frame, and the third image is the corrected image without the wire frame. I still think the right (foreword) side is too thin compared to the thickness of the left (back) side, but that's more subjective. Carl, I
