Yeah... looks like folks have to be REALLY careful about giving credit these days... Great news, though! A little more surfing this evening, and I found THIS: http://www.neowin.net/forum/lofiversion/index.php/t361339.html So I downloaded the .png's, and the iconpack (which needs to be unzipped and copied to the Icon Packager "Themes" folder manually... no "click to install" this time)... and it's a GREAT starting point

Thanks so very much for the "guide"! That's going to make it sooo much easier for me to figure out what belongs where... As for this particular set of icons, I wanted to post 'em here, because I've been using high resolutions on my monitors for the last couple of years now, and most of the icon sets made available just don't look "right", when they're shrunk down so small... but this set seems to hold up better than most... maybe because its

Hello. I was just surfing the web the other day, and came across this site: http://vistaicons.com/ So I downloaded the set... it's beautiful! Problem is, I've really got no idea at all, which icons go where! I mean, some of 'em are obvious, of course... but seeing as how I've never seen anything but a handful of Vista screenshots, I figured there might be some ambitious icon packager out there who would be familiar enough with th

Actually, I didn't really have problems with DesktopX 3 at all, until I installed the latest version of Stardock Central... then things began acting weird... In the old version, the DesktopX introductory popup would stay popped up until DesktopX was fully loaded... now it makes a brief appearance when I'm starting my PC, and then disappears until the PC is fully booted. That happens constantly. Sometimes DesktopX doesn't boot on startup at all

I'm thinking along exactly the same lines as Hus... I originally got DesktopX because I was sick and tired of all of those icons cluttering up my desktop, and DesktopX saved my sanity with those fadein or dropdown menus! Now, that's all I use on my desktop, and it's been a real lifesaver! BUT... I had to go out and buy a large monitor, 'cause most of the themes are in 1280x1024, and I haven't mastered building themes. So I wind up installing ready made themes, and deleting all

PS... Just wanted to let you know, that your advice worked like a charm... Within a half an hour, I had exactly the substitute states I wanted installed, and working perfectly! Just had to remember to check and copy their animation settings, is all... So thanks a million! Glad you were out there! All The Best, BK. <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=full

Hello. I was wondering if it's possible to mix cursor states from one cursor theme, with another theme. Is there a simple way of doing this? For example, I like a lot of the states for the "bubblegum" theme, except, er... the bubble blowing lips, and the hand. Any help appreciated...
