Darkstar One is another one I'd like to see. Ditto on all the classics (Baldur's Gate, old Sid Meier's games, text based, etc). Such low reqs and not too bad on the download size. I know I'd snap up quite a few of them to replace the ones I've lost over the years.

Good to see it gold. Got it with the expansion pack special a while back and have been loving the new additions and tweaks to the game.
OK sounds good I don't mind paying twice for a game I like specially one from a smaller developer. I'll just wait for stardock to popup with an update for me. :)
It appears the devs have a newer version than posted on stardock. Have they responded to your inquiries? Is a patch for the stardock version in the works? I'm having the same problem and only bought another copy of the game through you guys because I didn't want to deal with digging out the discs and patching it myself. I love the concept of stardock and having all these games in one place is cool but if patching isn't kept current it kind of defeats the purpose.
Haven't been playing long but already I've noticed this too. Played a great game with a friend coop, medium diff, medium map, us vs 2 AI + pirates and it started out fun but the AI runs a lot, even on its inner worlds and even the aggressive AI isn't very aggressive. Couple that with them rapidly getting out classed (no defenses on inner worlds, not amassing fleets, little tech growth, etc) and the game quickly goes from fun to yawn. Awesome game and I see it getting a lot of play time
