Your subtitle says it all......this government doesn't care about it's own people, and oneday (hopefully soon), more and more of it's people will begin to realise it and start standing up for what is important...I suppose you'd call it a revolution.

Because there will be alot of money lost to the meat industry, and because "they" don't want to cause a public panic, it will all be shoved under the rug until there is a public outcry to do more....sort of like the Red Cross with the aids crisis in the '80's, when they were reluctant to begin testing blood donors/units of blood for HIV because it cost too much money. I think I will become a vegan. P.S.Hey, E. Macy....I am moving from NY to Hasselt, Belgium in 2005 with my n

Yep, this country is pretty fucked up at this point, and like I've said before, nothing short of a revolution is going to fix it. What will happen? Maybe another civil war? Good against evil? Dammit! I forgot, evil has all the money!!

hmmmmmm........a weed smoker that voted for GW....interesting. Anyway dude, I really don't think the president runs this country (who? Big business? Lobbyists?) , so u could vote for anybody and it won't matter much.....all I know is that this country is in some pretty dire straits...healthcare for one is such a mess along with so many other things that it would take the second coming of Christ to fix it all. The massive amount of right-wing republicans on this site blather on and on and on ab

...or could it be that people with money or "savings" vote Republican? My grandfather always said Republicans are for the rich, and the Democrats are for the working man....guess he was right.

My husband came from Belgium on a k-1 visa....the mounds and mounds of paperwork and red-tape that we have to fight through for 2 years total is overwhelming...even though he is "legal", finding a job was also pretty tough for him....no way of knowing if it is because he's an immigrant or not....all I know is that this is a country built by immigrants, and unless a person is Native American, they should keep their mouths shut about "the f*cking immigrants over here taking our American jobs", bec

Tsk tsk......but all is not lost....I also got "pregnant" (married him also), but still managed to go to college and get a degree......important if you want to make it in life.....at LEAST get your HS diploma.....as for the boyfriend.....at least make the fucker pay what he will owe your child.

Actions speak louder than words...cliche, but it fits......he wants his cake and eat it too.....cliche, but it fits....he'll keep stringing u along for as long as u let him I guess....you'll grow tired of it in your own time.

OK.....this dude really isn't ready for any serious relationship, and continuing to persue him is going to hurt you worse in the long run. Ya don't trust him now, and chances are you wouldn't in the future, either. I know it hurts, I've been there many, many, many times (I'm 44). It took me 10 years after my divorce to find another man worth marrying again. You said he's 25, so I am guessing you are around the same age? You're going to have to kiss a few more frogs before you find your prin

It sounds to me like maybe he had "cheated" on you? If this is true, why not let yourself move on? He's not ready for a commitment, but I'm sure he would still like to "see" you (if you catch my drift)...I tried the whole "still be friends" thing, and it doesn't work....btw, if he's your BEST friend, maybe you should raise the bar on what u consider best, seeing how he's a deceitful liar (your words). There's something better out there for you, like there was for me, you just have to be patie

It's a good idea to start saving every penny you can for yourself, so that when you ARE ready, you will be ABLE to leave.....I can understand waiting. No one knows when you will be ready, only you know that (also, on sense spoiling the holidays for yourself). Have a good day!

I think most men that have a computer will surf porn, but I would certainly draw the line at "on-line affairs", and I did with 2 (count 'em) TWO previous relationships (I am now happily maried to a FAITHFUL man)...porn is one thing.....talking to real women on-line pretending that he is single is totally another. I have learned to trust my gut feeling....you know, that sick-knot-in the-stomach feeling you get when you suspect your man has been cheating. If he were "above suspicion", then you a

My daughter's car was stolen several years ago....also not "worth" stealing.....ok, actually, they were unable to start it (lol), so they pushed it into another nearby parking lot and tore out the CD player that she had put in herself. The police caught them several hours later with the CD player in their backpack...they were arrested, and ordered to pay restitution for the damage they did which was around $800....we recieved maybe $300 of it over the next few years then the "payments" stopped

If you are looking for sympathy from anyone on this blog site (although I feel bad for you)....you've come to the wrong place....there's mostly republican, conservative Bush supporters on here. Like you, I also can't wait to vote that asshole out. Another tip, though (from one "formerly single" mom to another).....find their Daddy and make him pay the child support he owes your kids.

I agree with you. I have been a medical laboratory technologist since 1980 and I can tell you that this situation is getting worse and worse. People without insurance will wait until the last possible minute to get the proper care because of the cost, ending up more ill. We as healthcare workers care about the people we are caring for. Unfortunately, it has become all about the money instead of the patients (for administration, that is)....overworked healthcare workers rushing through your p

I often see my boss typing away on his computer...all day long....I wonder if he's typing up 3 or 4 blogs a day jam packed with statistics, and his knowledge on just about EVERYTHING..if so, maybe he should be doing some REAL work like the rest of us Indians.....

I am an American married to a Belgian citizen.....he is simply amazed at the blind patriotism that the people of the US have for their country, it's policies, and their president (and yes, you are correct, to put it less eloquently, he is a DOPE!)....I used to think like some of the others on this site, that our govt. would never censor the news that we hear! That was until my husband would read his local newspaper daily on the internet (Het Van Limburg) and translate it to me.....sometimes, it

Dude! I so agree with you! So, like, in my article that I recently posted, (yesterday) I ask you....do you have a friend of a friend who maybe knows someone who has a friend that has a solution/new idea? Europeans give America 20 years.....what do YOU think?
