Is there a solution for Rainmeter? My Rainmeter skins by xenium still seem to be working, evidently knows and uses a different service. And, XWidget weather skins are still working for me. So hopefully Rainmeter will solve the problem soon.
I will be upgrading to Windows 8.1 on Thursday. I have Windows 8 X64 presently installed, along with Start8, Decor8 and ModernMix. Should I uninstall the 3 Stardock Programs before upgrading, then reinstall the 8.1 versions after upgrading? Will this make it a simpler and smoother transition? I don't want to have the whole System messed up and would appreciate any input about this. Thanks.

When I change Start Background to one of my wallpapers in Pictures, change is made initially. However, it changes back to default background without any notice or action on my part. It does not seem to "hold" the background I select. Is there a way to keep this from happening? Thanks.
When I load widgets or objects with DesktopX, they appear on restart correctly, BUT so does my DesktopX - Settings window. Does anyone know how to keep it from showing on EVERY startup??? Thanks.
