ive already decided on a few tweaks that i use in this file, however i want to hear what other people are doin to make their game run better. and can anyone tell me what the 'NVPerfHudEnable' setting does, if it does anything at all cause i have a 6600gt and i would assume if it recognized that it would turn it on but its off by default, im asking because im assuming the NV thing stands for nvidia. and what about 'isloadingtexturesinbackground' is this one good or not i have 1.5 gigs
haha this was fun, i got pretty much what i wanted for now :) the star map mod, and the UI minimalist mod, so ill jsut be happy with it until i see the 1.04 version of this game. and i took your advice i made a map with 10 stars and 4 planets around each, im having a very interesting game. peace out
ok well i guess i should defend myself i guess now. #1. I' not complaining #2. This post was originally intended to bring up ideas about how to improve the game and to also entice the developers to make a couple small changes to make the game more esthetically pleasing #3. Star Trek is science-fiction, but you don't see anyone complaining about how unrealistic it is. #4. Thank you all for your input, i do appreciate it.<br/
where is that section?
hi sorceress i dont mean that they should literally have millions of stars, im just saying the ratio of stars to planets is way off, and this game is capable of producing thousands of stars and many more planets, i tried to have 1000 stars and my game crashed. And yes i agree with you on the compression of galaxy to sector thing but even so the way you zoom in to stars is like your zooming into a completely different galaxy. In all of the space civ games there werent any other galaxies, just o
hey this is really great guys thanks! didnt know about the zoom feature thank you. well i guess the only thing is like what Vinraith said, the immersion level is not up to par with space fanatics, including myself, and ya moons, i remember that galciv had moons, they didnt do anything but they swing aorund the planet which is cool to look at. And thanks for the link to the minimalist mod. what else is missing in terms of realism in regards to galaxy setup?
Hi fellow sinners! Wow im really having a lot of decent fun with this game. Its easy to use, runs well on my mid way system and has much potential to be even better. This is where i come in. :) Ok so three things i would like to see changed, if not, still fun game. #1. There are a couple things wrong with how the universe in Soase are portrayed, being that there are more than one star per galaxy, theres like 400 million there abouts, and i would
