Simply put it's a great idea. Usually I don't buy anything site unseen, but Ironclad has proven to be the exception to this rule. Craig you can now count me as preordered type of fanboy. [e digicons][/e]

The manual is available as a pdf in the install directory. Have a look there.
I haven't visit the Sins forums for a while now because there's too much passive aggression going on. Anyway this is a good game and the new patch is great news. Thanks Ironclad and I'm looking forward to more. :CONGRAT:
So when's 4 out. :D All kidding aside thanks for the update. :CONGRAT:
w00t! :D
I don't have much problem with connecting to US/EU players. Only the time difference causes me trouble :). Yep I'm always up for a game.
Nothing happened. Alright whose going to clean up my monitor :D
Definitely pass on this one. I'd rather they devote the time to expand / further develop the sandbox and multi-player experience. Once a campaign is complete most people never return to them. Having said that I suppose you could always expand the tutorial section to include campaign settings, but its still a waste of developer effort and other resources.
The pirate concept is awesome! :CONGRAT: Some of the games I've played I've over committed my credits and it made for some heated action when players realised I was behind most of the bounties. :) What I'd like to see is different (AI) factions to further the pain inflicted to planets, economy, trading, etc.
This is just plain strange, throughout the beta I was able to play europe, US and asia - so I don't know what's going on. I'm sure IC will have a solution - remember its only the first day - so things might still be bumpy for a while longer.
Blair, you guy's are awesome. :CONGRAT: I'm amazed (and a little disappointed) that people started complaining and making wild claims about the reasons for not having a demo prior to release. Anyway you guy's rock - bring on the release. :d
 I'm so looking forward to seeing this film. :CONGRAT:
To all well informed forum-members what I wrote must really look like trolling. I'm aware of that, but that's what uninformed criticism is like. I work in game-testing (yes, for full-price titles with a budget just as big as Sins') and where I work uninformed first-look impressions are worth gold. Even more so if it's negative since inexperienced users have a clearer view of a product's shortcomings. That's why I wrote my thoughts so unfiltered. I think that's it for my part
I'm only interested in your well being because I support your stance towards your customers so I'll give you my unfiltered feedback in the order I came up with it: - You rushed out the game and didn't think about releasing a demo when you should've. - You're afraid the game is buggy or boring and don't want customers to find out before you received the money. - You willingly omitted a copy-protection, so you propably just want people to pirate the game to get a quick look.<br/
Pong??? - Something that smells hmmm... never heard of it. Oh alright yes I used to play it at the local squash courts. The most addictive game I used to play was defender - wasted so much money on it. Now my reflexes are no where near as good :SNIFF!:.
Every dollar saved is a good thing. :CONGRAT: Thanks for the info.
