In my game, if you've been in #sins had pirates with a fleet strength of over 500 ships. Each one had 2-4k hp and the average weapon damage power was something like 181. Not even a maxed researched fleet of an EMPIRE can take on that. Even with a starbase as support! Yeah that's what I've gone for shadow. Also replacing extractor meshes with planet ones (resized) Of course, can game starts with no "home planet" so to speak?

A 4x game, which means quality over quantity should be a completely valid option. It's how my higher experience, more advanced units in Civ 4 can handle themselves against greater numbers. You know. This just makes me think of having an RPG game within the Sins game. Think about it. The AI empires already provide a perfect platform for a dynamic universe setting that go on about their daily business. Something like Space Rangers 2! Imagine that in Sins skin. Mmm!

I'm guessing 28th GMT. Which will be all the more painful for anyone +GMT. I remember there recently being quite a tiff over release day...think it was Jade Empire with the digital release. Bioware made it so late a good portion of the world actually were unlocking it a day later! Nice time to boo at localisation on the internet. I thought the internet was to break barriers like this? But it seems recently localisation has grown on the internet, strange that!
