Still use DX on a daily basis. Use to to make custom programs for my work. Have been able to make Backup programs, system checking *tons of wmi calls*, mass copy, and tons more. Work fine on Win 7, Server 2008, and 2012. Have managed to work around a lot of its problems. Fences is on my laptop and love it, use it daily.

I'd love to see DesktopX brought back to life, I still use a ton of programs I have made on a daily basis. I'm also currently coding in it, as it allows me to do things simple and fast, and not have to load some bloated program just to create a simple one. Whats Stardock 6 look like?

Im still around, just saw no point in keeping my master skins out there, as once in a while someone would buy one and it wouldnt work right, and id just have to refund their money. so what was the point. I still use DX a good bit, there are so many cool things it can do, and its an amazing product. I always thought that making it avail to kids in high school programming classes would have been cool. Im using a Nikon D5100... nothing special. But if you know me, you know i love to play with sw. So Lightroom 5, several different HDR programs, and im happy. I can do a LOT to compensate for not knowing everything i want to know about photography (yet). :) Thanks Seth for the new Avatar!

i use the pro 4.0 beta a lot for some things i do for work. like a program to copy 1 folder to 10-20 machines using xcopy. or a backup program that uses multiple cmd windows, checks file locations, etc. it works pretty well. shame there is no life for dx4 here. wish there was some new things that could be added. and bugs fixed. For one program i still (after 4 years and 20 emails) have to go into the users/appdata/...stardock/ and removed a file that is cre
Snow, I can more than understand. The amount of time i spent on DX a few years back was insane, these days i put that into my photography. I get so much more out of this, and its sooo much less frustrating. I fully understand Stardocks focus on products that make $. Its interesting how much things have changed in the past few years.
