Got a strange one... If i go into "my skins" and look at the drop down for the items (Wallpaper/windows media/etc) I see a # in (X) next to each category, but they dont match up with the actual # of items in that list. IE: It shows Wallpaper (7), but when I look in that listing it shows 3 Wallpapers. I think it is counting ones that didnt make the cut and make it to the site. Just passing on info. Romanda

Thats kewl, Its just amazing to me how lame people can be in a "public" forum, simply because you cant see their face, and they cant see mine. If they were standing next to me and had the oppertunities to say the things they would say what they "TYPE" here, I doubt they wouldnt. Oh well, gotta love the internet!
Is there any way for us to control the comments placed on one of our skins? IE: can we delete a comment, or is it possible to edit one and remove certain "words"? I think this could help keep this kind of junk out of here. If we can delete junk comments like this, then it would help to eliminate people being forced to see these things. My 9 year old looks at my skins on here, and I'd hate to have him see some looser taking their 12
Hey! This new home page is so much cleaner, looks so much better. I LOVE the previews of the top skins, much nicer then just a single "featured" skin. BYW, how do i get something "featured"? Keep up the good work.. Just a suggestion, for the colors, you could try a sample page with color choices and have people vote for the one the like, or even give us the info we need to make our own colors?
Quick q, On the My Skins tab.. where do i upload a NEW item?? Things are looking GREAT! - i LOVE haing the My Skins info back, and all the details of it. Spam is just a major problem, and it drives me nuts. I think the bigger problem is people sending out crap like "If we forward this to 100 people, Disney will give us free tickes". This seems like its working ok, The good thing would be to have a popup widget showup when your app loads (if it looks for CUI or AOI info) and prompt for info and create this file. I think that made no sense. I mean when you first load your app, it would look to see if the CUI and AOI exist, and if they dont, it would open a window where you can enter the basic info into, and then it would create the XML files. I think this could be good for color settings. IE: If my desktop is using Green as its main color, and that is stored somewhere, then when my app loads (and happens to have a Green color) I can set it to use Green as its default (which could be overridden if wanted by the user). The XML could work ok, but that would mean if i want YOUR settings you can just send me your XML Setting file. That could be interesting. The ZIP is a major one for weather Apps, its so dumb for all

Citahellion, Sounds like a GREAT plan. My son's pc is getting changed so that he only had icons for programs I allow him to use, as well as removing links on his web browser, and the address bar to type things in with. Even at that its amazing how simple it is for crap to get thru. Thanks for the input!

I agree, its interesting what gets thru and what doesnt, and how crappy some of the stuff is that makes it thru. There are other wallpaper sites, and to be honest i dont like wallpapers all that much (yeah i know, i have several out on WC) they mess up things and just make it harder to find info on the desktop.
