In my case removing any of the usb devices is not an option. Still need to make sure it was something clashing with WB causing the problem (give it a few days with it uninstalled to make sure).

digging up an old thread a bit I've had the same error. I only recently build my desktop machine with vsita and I would intermittently get a bsod on boot in win32k.sys just before the windows flag bubble would show before it went to the welcome screen. I updated my video card drivers the day before yesterday and since then it would give me this error on every cold boot (but after it restarted from that it was fine). I uninstalled WB this morning and haven't had it bsod since. I gave

After playing around with winfx a bit more i'm liking it more and more. but would it be possible to have a hover-over delay for the taskbar previews? right now they show up straight away and sometimes (in particular when you've alt-tabbed away from a fullscreen game and go to click on it in the taskbar) they cause strangeness.

some of the authors say so... others it's a case of trial and error. all of the ones i've downloaded recently have worked on both my machines (desktop runs dual 1280x1024 lcds and laptop has a 1920x1200 screen)

Just installed and rebooted for the latest wb + winfx and 1st up I gotta say I quite like some of the new things in this (the alt-tab replacement and window previews in particular). However seeing as it's very much a beta there are a few issues - as to be expected at this point. All except one of the bugs I've noticed have an easy work around for me. 1. Mirc + nnscript 4.01 - treeview switchbar doesnt display while runnning wfx. not sur

I just tested that here on my laptop (p-m 2ghz, 1gb ram, 6800go) and I have the exact same weirdness minimising to tile. Also noticed a couple of other bugs I'll post in another thread as they arent this issue

ATI in my desktop - I stopped using nvidia for ages as at the time ati performance was way ahead (9700/9800 series back then and currently using an X850XT) and also because nvidia was pathetic when it came to working with windowfx. Have they fixed that yet? I havent tried wfx in months since the wb5 betas 1st started to come out. Though i recently got a laptop and am running a 6800go in it.. nice card that.. cant complain about performan

Looking good. Definately faster overall, Though I've had some weirdness changing skins with explorer and mirc (what i had running at the time) locking up. This was when I went from a per-pixel skin to an older skin. The lockup has happenned twice so far. The first time I had wfx running and the 2nd I had a video playing in MPC. The first time this happenned I tried logging out and back in which gave me the 1st bsod i've seen in a very very long ti

a64 3500+ 1gb ram and an X850xt here.. probably bump the ram up to 2gb around longhorn time and maybe a dual core processor but you'd want to hope that this machine could run longhorn with all the candy on and hopefully they fix the issues with 2ndary monitors being unaccellerated in longhorn. windowfx transitions kinda break on the 2nd monitor atm. </fo
