1- this mod needs a FAQ (if there wasn't one already)
2- because I didn't read all of these posts...will the rebels have an incredibly strong building for spreading culture? (aka a propoganda broadcast station that will convert many nearby planets to the rebellion)
3- Will there be separate mods for different timelines? (Clone Wars/New Hope/ROTJ etc.)
to the third question: the initial mod will be post-battle of endor, though it's my understanding that work on a clone wars mod will commence once this one is complete
i am new to this game i bought it a few week ago and i have been playing the normal maps and then i found out about the game update v1.05 so i downloaded it
but now i want something different like a mod so i started searching this website and found out the is a starwars mod
but i cant find anywhere on this topic explaining where or how to download and install it
i was hoping that some could tell me briefly where to download the mod and how to install it and if i need a certain update for the game like v1.02 not v1.05 also if i need any extra software to install it
that would help me alot because i like star wars and this game and i want to play the mod

i went to the downloads page then i clicked on modification and i looks through all of the mod and couldnt find anything about a starwars mod

With that said, I know that in the gamer already there is a sort of 'flagship' system, where the Capital Ship with the most experience is dubbed the flagship, but would there be a way to set up a system to where either a; you can manually select your flagship, or b; the Capital Ship with the most firepower/ most expensive/ most advanced tech be your flagship? Because I would think it odd if you had your standard Victory 1 SD be your flagship due to its experience only, and your ( if EvilleJedi did, infact include it in the finish product) Executor class SSD not be.

Remember, though...it is their initial test release, though I didn't really notice any bug issues.
Also, FYI, in the Capital Ship construction yard, the Imperator I on the far right is actually a Venator class ( That's the Clone Star Destroyer...just incase you weren't sure)

If you're having doubts about the beta because it's Empire only, don't worry about it. The beta is great even with that small hitch.

I probably will disable the stock races when I get a few more SW races in (I've been talking to some people to get the clone wars era stuff in soon) as for pirates they will be getting dreadnaughts and nebulon B's and probably some special abilities.
Why don't you replace the Pirates with Black Sun
because who would want to fight freighters and knock off star vipers?
there's not a singe thing on that list that would even remotely threaten most NR or Imperial warships unless it was massed in such ridiculous numbers to be silly
What I am going to do is give the pirates a decent selection of heavy hitting ships (dreadnaughts, possibly some other older vessels) so that thier raids actually amount to somehting (unless IC allows us to change the AI for the pirates which looks really unlikely)

Old as in how old? I thought dreadnaughts were pre-Clone Wars.
Can we get a tiny status report (like what is done thus far, the only release I know of is the one with just an unbalanced Empire. I'm willing to bet money its the only release
