Yep yep... Didn't realize pirates were gimped in beta 3... that 7000 bounty on ur head could have gone towards ships...

Also it seems trade ships attract more pirates than bounty does...

Anyway GG Kryo! I shall see you on the field of battle again! And next time I won't be so gentle...

Yeah, I had trouble with that. Blair (somehow) managed to turn the pirate raid on his planet into a raid on my (adjoining) planet. Man was I ticked -- I spent good money getting those pirates on him.

Sweet game! Love the first battle (Kyro's taunt that failed ) and then the arrival of the Ultimus! Don't want to give much away but i thoroughly enjoyed it

Heh a WHOLE 80 minutes long lol!

Me and a friend just got done with a 6.5 hour game and it was AWESOME!!!
I haven't had this much fun with a NON-MMO game since Galactic warzones in the BBS days.

What was REALLY nice was we agreed to not SUPERCAPFLEETOMGWTFBBQ blob each other and use real tactics.

Again it was awesome beyond belief!

Keep up the GREAT work guys.

I'm happy you had such a good time! Over time those tactics are going to evolve and become much more complex.  If you haven't discover already, battles in neutral territories (Gas giants, storms,stars, etc..) can really turn the tide in a game. Just wait until we get the other races in

I have to say, the strategy that develops out of multiplayer is GODLY.
