Stargate Invasion is a total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment and Diplomacy . As of this time, there is no FINAL release date yet for this mod.

The mod will be built in 2 halves.  The first is the Pegasus side, I.E. Humans, Wraith and Asurans, with the Pirates being a classified race at the moment.  The second part of the mod, will add in the Asgard and Goa'uld races to the mix, we will even be creating a separate version of the mod as well, which will just be Humans, Asgard and Goa'uld, with the Lucien Alliance as the Pirates for that half.

Well you are rude . For your information , sins has changed drastically with in the last 2 years, For starters this mod was for vanilla sins when it first started. Now its for entrenchement. The mod is also about to be released for a beta tester stage.  If your are such a GREAT MODDER AND WONDERFULL MODELER WHY ARENT YOU ON THE TEAM!!!! Instead you sit in your glass house thowing stones.!!!!!    So with that being said go back to your mother and ask her to TEACH YOU SOME MANNERS!!!!! Btw whats your email address. Wanna make sure u dont get ahold of the mod!!!!!! EVER!!!!!    If you even understood sins and mods you would have never said what you did, shame on you.

Calm down JTAYLORPICS. No need to go overboard. But the original get a life. The people here are doing the best they can to make this mod work. If that is not goo enough for you build a sg mod by yourself and dont bother the stargate invasion team again.

PS. Im not a member of the team. Just someone who supports the team.

Sigh... Bless the Internet and the never ending supply of people who look gift horses in the mouth.

On another note...  Congrats SGI team on an error free loadstate on your beta.  Nice milestone there.

Hey EO.  I've been doing alright.  I haven't been actively modding Sins for a while but with the latest rounds of patching for Entrenchment and Diplomacy's release I've been back into it again the last few days.  After creating/editing 135 entities yesterday, I now have the core SGRaces mod up and running in Diplomacy and it's just a matter of doing the string work now and I should have a release ready for the new expansion.  After that, I'm not sure what will happen modding wise but I do admit that yesterday did rekindle my urge to mod a bit so I may give a shot at finally getting the Goa'uld and Ori created for the SGRaces mod.

It's always good to see that SGI continues to plug away at the mod.  I'm looking forward to seeing the fruits of are your labors when you get the beta done up.

Hello Eomega, I would really like to help Beta Test the MOD, I can successfully code (thanks to Dolynicks help) and would love to thoroughly test the MOD, look at the coding and see how it all functions, and of course offer asistance with any coding.

hi guys, maybe you have said it before (I was too lazy to read through all the posts O:) ) but when will the mod be released? I am a big fan of the series and I can't wait for this mod.

Or you could just read the original post, specifically the red text at the very top. -_-

Thank you Myles for helping our friend out.  ^_^   On the mod, we have only two more mesh errors to iron out before beta is on its way.  We are also taking the time today to review the applications we have recieved and pick the lucky 15 people.

Oops. Well, thanks anyway. I was hoping for something more specific.

right now we are still working some kinks out, but it looks like beta will be released in no time.  Then it is just a matter of getting everythnig done model wise to get the mod released.

Just out of interest. Did you have to design new ships for the mod? I can't remember seeing so many different ships in the series, I mean the Ta'uri only have got the bc303 and the bc304 for example.

yes we had to.  We needed to be able to fill the ranks of all the units, so custom ones are going to be needed to be designed for all races.

Here is a little bit of eye candy for everyone to enjoy.

The battle pictures are awesome, however, I don't like the muzzle effect on the BC-304, it's too big. I've never really liked pointy muzzle effects on sins as they only point in the weapon's general bank. I would recommend a small effect, a circular kind of effect, or no effect. 9/10

The battle pictures are awesome, however, I don't think you should use that muzzle effect; it's too big. Plus, muzzle effects on SoaSE point in the general bank that the weapon is firing, excluding the Y axis. I would recommend either a small effect, a circular effect, or no effect at all.

It's looking pretty cool. It's only a shame that it's too dark to see the ships properly.:D

Looks good guys, keep up the good work.

Btw, would it be possible, when both sides of the mod are done, to make a combo mod that has the wraith, asurans, tauri, asgard, AND goa'uld in it? I, personally, would find it pretty epic to attack some wraith hives with my epicpwnage-Anubis-Goa'uld-mothership-of-death.

The balancing might be fail on that^ but it'd still be fun.

Actually yes that is part of the plan, balancing should not be such a issue.  Also we will be launching the beta within the next 48 hours.  So get ready to step thru the gate!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay good news on the beta!

Also, I would think that Anubis' ship would be able to hold their own against the Wraith anyways in the show.  He did have Ancient knowledge and from what I recall was able to actually best the Asgard who were pretty close to having Ancient's level tech (shield at least I think) and were the only ones who actually walked away from the Ori supergate massacure.

My lore may be a little rusty but I don't recall the Hives being all that "powerful" as it was said the Ancients would win every incursion but the Wraith just never stopped coming.  It would have been kinda interesting to see the Wraith actually go up against Anubis in his prime with his super soldiers and Ancient shield tech since I don't think the Hive even had shields.
