Stargate Invasion is a total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment and Diplomacy . As of this time, there is no FINAL release date yet for this mod.

  

 

The mod will be built in 2 halves.  The first is the Pegasus side, I.E. Humans, Wraith and Asurans, with the Pirates being a classified race at the moment.  The second part of the mod, will add in the Asgard and Goa'uld races to the mix, we will even be creating a separate version of the mod as well, which will just be Humans, Asgard and Goa'uld, with the Lucien Alliance as the Pirates for that half.

Are the different races going to have equal anti-fighter capabilities? or will one race be superior?  Furthermore, will one race have better anti-capital ship abilities? ect..

Right now, the finer details, such as anti-fighter weapons and such are at the back of our minds, we are still trying to get all the modeling done, and the coding of just the ships ingame.

 

UPDATE

We are currently working on getting the last 2 human ships built, one being a capital ship and the other a frigate, but here is a fleet shot of the ships that atleast have their meshes built.

Hey Eomega amazing work. Cant wait to see more. I was just wondering how the human SB will stack up in size to a wraith hive or atlantis. I know there is a small ship in the image of the SB but its still hard to judge.

question: how will the icons be ? i mean when you zoom out and instead of ships there are icons like the ships....you guys changed those 2 or....?

question is ... has there been any concideration of releases per race "not a DEMO" but a complete release since i know your trying to finish each race one by one.

Or are there to many ideas on the back burner for this idea?

Here is the last of the Human CapitalShips, the Destiny Class.  The design was created by Adrian Curtis and thanks to Stargate Destiny.  The meshes core was built by Lord Set, modified and added onto by EpytronOmega.

It has been considered, and rejected.  We want everything to be balanced to everything else, not release a side at a time and have you destroy or be destroyed by the race.

Just curious to see if you are giving the Asurans more than just drones.  I think I saw that the Tau'ri are getting rails, nukes and after upgrading a bit Asgard plasma beams?  What about the Wraith?

yes the Asurans are getting more then just drones, you dont have to worry about that.  Right now the Asurans have Drones, Lagrangia Weapons Systems and Lasers, just to start.  As for the Wraith, not a clue on their weapons just yet.

honestly... havent attempted it.  There would be only 2 units who could use it, the Darts and Jumpers... Not very effective in my opinion since they are both fighters and attached to their respective carrier ships.  If you are thinking of a clone of the Phase stabalizer, the mod will be getting a variation on that, but cant tell you what it will be attached to, lol.

As I stated above CursedSpirit, the jumpers will be fighters, there is no chance of them being frigates.  This is mainly due to the whole hyperspace thing, I know that DolyNick did it in his mod, and Ive played it and it works out ok, but for our mod we are going to leave them as fighters.  I know some people are not going to like this, but that is just the way that I plan to release the mod.

Just kinda dawned on me as all this jumper/stargate thing came up but... are the stargates gonna be buildable by a race or... has it been stated that the Asurans can build stargates etc?  I know they have ZPMs and what not, but was it stated that they could build stargates and/or a stargate network in the show?

As for the stargate idea of the Vasari phase stabilizers, why not say the asurans can build a super gate as seen by the ori? If they can do it the asurans can too. This would mean that all ships can travel through it(not the starbases). I have one question though, will this mod be available for the regular sins and not just entrenchment?
