Ok so I am just throwing this idea out there because I am a Halo fanatic and I think that this game could easily incorporate the Halo universe into it. I am not a very good designer but I can provide support and more ideas. There are already two races that could easily be changed into the Humans and the Covenant( TEC and Advent). All we would have to do would be to change ships some and add  gauss guns to most TEC Cap ships. I know this might take a long time but if it means that we will finally have a Halo space combat game then it will be well worth it.

is it just me or has this thread dying. its been so slow here. i miss the constructive arguments and shit arguing on how to actualy get ahold of bungie and other stuff i cant quite think of right now *continues bitching*

I think the problem is that a bunch of the young'uns in this thread now have middle/junior high/high school, and the older ones have college. Therefore, they have less time to spend arguing over mundane little details that, during the summer, they could cross-reference, think through, and post. Unless I totally missed something...

Nope your pritty much right on the money there, its hard to check back and keep trak of mods when life starts to speed up.  and doesnt this mod have a sight of its own now? Normaly i just check on that sight but I havent looked at it in a while, I thought this forum might have some info it didnt

so hows progress on the mod, great job on what you have been doing so far. heres an idea for the covies, the different classes of ships are factory built as one type, and you upgrade them from there, whether to bomb planets or attack other frigates/capitol ships.

Actually that's not it, it takes maybe a minute to post, maybe two if it's real long. Even with school and work almost everyone can spend that kind of time. The reason this thread is "dead" is simply because there's nothing to say. There are no updates, there are no more arguements. We've done it all. Now, when we get a major update, y'know screens, lots of info, that kind of stuff. THEN this thread will pick right back up, untill then, it'll just stay lifeless.

Got shown about 50 pages back someone copying concepts from Halo: Homefront. Bit late to react but yeah.

I'll take this opportunity to say we give no permission at all in using HHF specific content to the SoP team, and we would appreciate you honouring our wishes. I realise a public member was the one posting our concepts, and we mean no offense, we just felt the need to make sure this is clear.

I just got a phonecall from a friend of mine who is quite into Halo (so much so it worries me). When I told him about this mod there was a long pause, followed by what sounded like him gargling, breathing heavy, then a rather shrill cry of joy (I'm still shaken with fright). Thus, he has demanded-- not asked-- that I ask anyone here if there is atleast a demo for this mod. At the same time, he would love to know the both what the progress on this mod is as well as if there any screenshots/video available for it. I appologize for not reading through the other 65 pages, but I don't really have the time on my hands.

If someone could please help me out with this, I'm fairly positive they'd be saving my life...seriously, the guy knows where I sleep at night :S.
