Nexus 2

Another dream lost...

Hello guys!
I do know, that this is not the best place to do it, but still, i feel like i have to.

I think that most of you guys know the great title Nexus: The Jupiter Incident. I myself have played trough the campaign of that game at least three times, and i really love it. In my opinion, there should be a lot more games out there like that.
For those who don't know what i'm talking about, here are a few screenshots from the official site: http://www.nexusthegame.com/index.html?action=showfotopage&fotopageid=12

And here comes the bad part. Probably most of you who ever known this game already know, that there was a second game coming, Nexus 2 it is. It was... The development was sadly discontinued due to financial and marketing issues.
There was only one Techdemo released of the game, now long ago, maybe back in 2005. But that few minutes of realtime gameplay scene had and probably still has a huge impact on all the sci-fi lover gamers like myself.
Compared to it's age, and considering that the engine is in an early state, it kicks ass! Not only back at that time it looked great, even now it looks awesome. Here is a download link for the Techdemo: http://hardwired.hu/dl2.php?id=4823

The future of this game seemed hopeless for a long time, but a few months ago a fellow guy started a petition to ask the continuing of Nexus 2. This is the reason i'm writing here. I try to do all a gamer can do, to ever see this game released. So i just wish to ask any of you, who feels like it's worth it, to sign the petition.
Here this following link will take you to the petition: http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?nexus_2

Thank you for taking your time and reading my post, and also thanks to all of you who sign it.
For Stardock, excuse me for doing this right here, but the thing this project needs the most are the people...

I have the techdemo on my harddrive since 6-9 months. I fully agree with you and have signed the petition, even if its hopeless (which i assume it is).
