I actually like the race alot, because of some good abilities and the ships look cool, however, the voice acting is just to bad to listen to. It sounds like they are singing, but with a voice thats sounds like there are going to die. " struuuuuctuuuurreee compleette... lol. I know they are aliens, but i cant take them seriously.

Let me make this very clear, the vassari voice is repitilian, dont you watch the movies with talking snakes? duh. anyway, why dont you make a mod to change the voice make it moore high pitched :LOL: (squeek) we have left phassssssse ssspace. Only really squeeky and stuff.

The voices won't be changed - it would require all new voice acting and we like the voice acting as-is.  I find it funny that this complaint is coming from someone named StarscreamX when the Vasari voices are done by the same professional voice actor who does Starscream on the Transformers series.

Anyways StarscreamX, if you don't like it so much, why don't you make a mod and change the voices?

Maybe starscreamX is thinking of the original starscream (who is dead now, but it seems to me like he isn't old enough). So does he mean Michael Dobson or Chris Latta?

Actually Starscream sounds alot like them. I'm surprised I didn't notice earlier. I correctly noticed L's (from Death Note) voice actor on Battlestar Galatica today though :D

I find the grating tough to take too altho I really can't fault the quality and professionalism of the voice acting. I haven't played a full game with them yet because of it. What can I say? I'm very auditory! Grating is grating!

I think the robotics cruiser's pronouncement is hysterically cute. Made me glad I paid for the research to get him. ;)

Well, I gotta say this; whenever I play V, I expect them to start with "Yarrr" end with "Capn'". "Yarrrr, our ships have left phasssse space, Capn'!" I think it kind of ruins the ambiance and seriousness of what is essentially a tragic story when I keep thinking that it's Talk Like a Space Pirate Day on all my spaceships. I guess I'll have to live with it though, because audio is some of the toughest stuff to re-do. If I was designing them from scratch, I'd want them not to even speak english; give them sound effects from ant colonies or something speed up thirty times and add in photocopier clips. Bam, you has a spaceship noise.
