All I got to say about the above quote is........brilliant idea , your obviously one of the minority who plays for enjoyment and for a challenge . Also doing this you are in your own way helping to raise the standard.

I won my first game because by chance I got a team where it was 2v2 , I was with a veteran and the other 2 one was a veteran and one was an newbie. It was an epic game , and I will rate myself as lucky if I ever get a game like that again.

I am a newbie but can usually host fine if everyone has broadband, I have 20MB connex, decent PC and I am going to do this in any games I host. I think people really need to do this as well, for a start the games are 100* more fun. I mean you get people saying ow theres no challenge in pug games but thats probably in a 4v4 you have 4 people who are on 24/7 and know each other Vs 4 people who have just entered. Dont see the fun in that.

Yeah yw np , your thread hasnt been up too long but Im surprised knowone else has been on saying they are thinking of doing it. I will be honest , I have hosted in many games though and feel kinda stupid I havent thought of doing this as if we are thinking along the lines of improving everyone then this would be the way to go. Its not that the newbie is able to learn because the veteran will keep them in relative safety for a time, in the case of the veteran he has to compensate for the newbie so he has to really be adaptable. In my view its a win win for all . If were just talking pug games and this doesnt get much support this idea then to me that says something in itself and is perhaps a factor in less players on MP which is a real shame.

Its frustrating for me as well because on gciv 2 you had a good lot wanting MP , now we have that with sins; however as someone says a probably larger amount play sp which means MP isnt getting utilised. (Its annoying because MP can be dam good with the right people but I think the whole ego play sillyness doesnt help either)

Anyway if I ever host I will do what you suggest - you and the person who originated the idea should come up with a catchy shorthand way to describe that system and I will put it in any game I host, that way people will know thats a game where balanced teams get picked. (Just an idea - you know like Foxfire BTS e.g Balanced Team System)

cheers jixra , yeah let me know as soon as your map is ready to be tested and I will get some SP practice on it then get on mp with it asap . Aside from everything I have said about the game in a game feedback type thread I am here to stay, still love the way the game plays and yes your idea is a VERY good one. (Anyone whos in the game to play to improve and wants a good standard of play for all surely sees the advantages in using a syatem like this)

I will use PUG as you suggested since it is your idea . Im hoping I can play your map SP and cant wait to try it! I was thinking of making a map in galaxy forge, my plan is too make a big map in such a way that players will want to get using the stars and explore, so Im just comming up with a plan atm , just thinking ways to entice players to play the long game whilst still making it fun all the way through.

Im thinking of putting a server up in an hour, its just with there being no ping indicator its trying to get people with good connections+that want to play medium/big maps. Still Im thinking the game will go from strength to strength as months pass! (Cant wait for this patch thats comming because its a content patch as well I was lead to belive and if this is the case that is awesome)

P5yy I played you a long time ago, you are one of the few people who is truly a good play, a good sport and more intrested in fun then ego. (I refer having ALL the qualities, some have 2 of 3 in various combinations)
