"String not found" everywhere

Hi,

I installed the patch 1.1beta3 for Sins today and now(well, I never tried playing before, so I can only say how it is with this patch.) there is NO text but "string not found". On every button and every option(besides the resolution). German version was installed.

 

Using: Vista Ultimate SP1 x64; Intel C2D T7500(2,2GHz); ATI HD2600 Mobiltiy (256MB VRAM); 2GB RAM;

 

Second game this week which is not working correct. What a cursed week at all.

Sadly the beta patchs don't work with the german version.

You'll have to wait until the finished patch. :(

ok, thanks.

Well, I found an Option: "Verify Install". I did this and the game was downloaded from the server(english version) and patching worked now. I´ll play the english version till the patch releases.

To use the beta patch with the german version, go to your Sins folder, then to the subfolder String. Make a backup of German.str, and rename English.str to German.str.
