It's insane Dominas are higher tier than Guardians. Suppression is a nightmare to micro and I don't even know how the AI uses it since I never bother to build them. The only reason I would build a few Dominas would be to keep my Mothership alive against Vasari Phase Missiles but tier 7 for Perseverance is just too high to come into play really. Yeah, it's a useless ship unfortunately. You're much better off with Guardians and Repulse.

Pretty much the only good use for Dominas is to prevent caps from being disabled via Perseverance.

The devs wouldnt have put them in the game if there wasnt a reason to have them.  Let us try to find something good about them...

hoshiko dont have to face its target,for both its abilities,and they are not channelged .hoshiko is also much cheaper and requires less resources to research...well compared to hoshiko domina is trash.so I was asking if domina worth it at all....

Only support ships worth to disable are iconus and subverters - but with this crappy AI and facing target/channeling its pretty hard to disable all you want and in the right time..most probably you will fail unless you are a micro god.

The Hoshiko is arguably the best support cruiser in the game, and the Advent cannot build them anyways.  The subjugator fulfills a similar role; use them sparingly because they aren't as good, but they're still worth using.

Healing starbases in neutral gravwells is something I use them for in SP... can't imagine it would work in multiplayer.

Well, it works, but a smart player will kill the domina.  If you need to heal after a big fight, though, this will work.

For some reason you need to manually target starbases, which makes this really annoying.

It got a turn speed buff, meaning it has an easier time acquiring targets now like all support cruisers.  Other than that... no.  Still roughly on par with the Cielo for the title of weakest support cruiser.

Like the Subjugator, it comes too late in the tech tree and doesn't have nearly enough influence to justify this.  This is a stage in the game at which Advent has a fully-functional battleball and Vasari have a fully-functional lockdown; the Cielo is a mid-game unit that only becomes available in the late-game.  What good is +40% damage when the other two factions can pretty much disable your entire fleet at this point in the game?

Perserverance is a regen rather than an instant heal.  I can't remember how much it is exactly.  I am wanting to say 15 or 25.  It also removes any disable on the single target frigate.  It takes a lot of micro to counter subverters with it.  It is almost easier to use the first ability to single target disable the subs than undisable your fleet.

I'm pretty sure it's 25, as well.  It's good for repairing capital ship hull, stacks with repair platforms, and Advent's only way to repair starbases in uncolonizable gravity wells.  It's ability to "unlock" nearby units is mostly without merit.  This ability is for use on capital ships, and it's just not worth your time to use it on much else.
