This is a suggestion, but it will probably turn into a question. I'm not a huge fan of micromanaging, and I have noticed everyone complaining about the autocast on various abilities, e.g. suppression on the subjugator. I have a suggestion that I hope will help this. Couldn't we choose which ships it targets? The reason why I said that this suggestion will probably turn into a question is that chances are that someone else has already had this idea, and there has been a reason why it didn't work. Thus, I am asking what that reason is instead of making the suggestion. Just in case, I'll explain my idea. So for every non-passive ability, there will be a small little button on the bottom right corner. If clicked (and possibly held), a toolbar would hang down. From here on it would be best to just test it out to see who likes what, but here's a example of what I mean. There would be a list of all the different types of ships that the ability can target (I don't know if it would be LF, LRF, HC, or name each individual one). You could click and drag them to rank them. There would be other options, such as target nearest ship, or if it was the subverter, disable most possible ships. For other abilities, such as reverie, it might list individual caps, so you can target marzas first, or whatever you would want to. There would also be the option of leaving it to the normal autocast, or the good old manual use. Yeah, I know there are problems with my example, but what do people think of the general idea, to improve autocasting? Thanks guys.
