7 deadly sins modding help...

Alright so this is my first time modding. I have no idea what to do. I downloaded the 7 Deadly Sins mod but I cant open it beacause it says that Windows needs to know what program created it. 

 

Also, where can i download the patches so I can also play Star Wars Requiem??

ok, one thing at time xD

I am also new to modding (started 5 days ago). Most mods files are binary which works faster with the game, but is hard to impossible to mod. What you need to do is convert them into text files. You can use harpo's utility for that: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/353296

You can then open the files with notepad and edit them.

Also I recommend that you download the forgetools and read the beginner documentary.

Secoundly what version of which game do you have? As far as I know, you can get most patches from filefront.

1 the 7z file is a 7zip archive. you need to google 7zip, then download and install it before you can extract the 7ds 2.1

2 the "patches" are ONLY ABLE to be downloaded WITH impulse from impulsedriven.com AND A VALID serial number

2 game patches USED to be on filefront but for sins it is impulse ONLY since 1.05.

thanks a bunch.

But now i have a problem that says Impulse can only be installed if .NET Framework 2.0 is installed. I tried installing it but it encounters a problem every single fricking time.

also sins & galaxy forge want/need  dotnet 3.5 so you might try updating with windowsupdate  to dotnet 3.5
