Last person to post wins, unless they are a moderator or admin.

Basically, this game is played so that the last person who post wins. What do they win? The ThreadKiller's Achievement; The honor of being the last person to post by virtue of the content of their post. However, moderators, admins, and anyone else who has the ability to lock the thread are disqualified from winning the ThreadKiller's Achievement, if they win by locking. If the thread is won by method of locking, the "winner" gains the Achievement Of Reprehensible Epic Lameness.

The Suns were the first professional sports in Arizona and they started here. They have been in the Valley of the Sun for more than 40 years. So they are more like the Cubs.

I believe someone's become a masochist.

Okay, I guess I should put up a small post trying to lure Oranos out of his hiding hole. We come in peace, bitches!

Quick question gentlemen if i might, I have played so long with Pirates that i didn't think about it, then tonight in 1.191 turned Pirates off to have a go at the Tech one vs. one.

But lo and behold, HERE are the Pirates!!!

Even after turning them off.   Hmmmmm.......

Is this a bug?

Or have i missed something obvious?

Thank you much for the info ahead of time,

Sincerely,

:)

It's not a bug, in Vanilla Sins, setting pirates to inactive does exactly that, makes them inactive.  They still remain a part of the map.

Yep, what Stant said

You can't even let me have the win for 5 full minutes?  Gotta cut me off at 4:45...  I hope the Diamondbacks choke this year.

:)  Thank you Stant,

I appreciate the help, and wanted to say Thank You! Oh, and your suggestions on the story were very nice, i haven't had a chance to say Thank You before, but I am going to get the next post up, or should i send it along and have you take a look first?

:)

Thank you again gentlemen,

They will

If it has any of my main characters interacting or any kind of military action, send those parts my way.  If it's all just random characters and general movement around the system and activities based on what we've already gone over, then don't worry about it.

I really need to find time to start reading that lore again.

I need to find time to post something in hopes of getting Oreo to jump back in and help us move along. AND I have to fill in Carbon and Xenon's shoes. Ryat, that means I might have to use your character or work something out with you.

And if I'm correct, pirates only continue to have a base where a pre-made map is involved. They won't even have a base on the random map, rght?

Depends on the parameters set for random maps. You can set it so that they don't show, yes.

I will see what I can do with Carbon and Xenon with Lord Ryat. More time is slowly freeing up.

Well, the idea was to get them to head back toward Ue space. I forget the details at the moment, but first I need to get Xenon away from you, which inherently means you're in the post. Carbon has already run off, so I can just do whatever with him. Maybe we can split it up, You can play the tin can and I the meat bag.

LOL, sounds like a plan. I can run it by Carbon sometime tonite if he is on MSN IM.

cool,

One for the Distant Stars Lore Thread would be cool as well.

Since we are getting ready for the foot or so snow tonight, they may cancel my schedule for tomorrow and if that's the case, I can start on my next lore posting....Any way take a look at these....

These images were done on my netbook, but I know i can get better quality from the PC, when my wife isn't on it.....Bison...

So, about the planets near the sides...  Do they always looked stretched out or is it just because of the resolution you run at?  Trying to run a program in widescreen that isn't set up for it...  ;P

EDIT:

And if I'm correct, pirates only continue to have a base where a pre-made map is involved. They won't even have a base on the random map, rght?

In vanilla Sins, even the random maps continue to have pirate bases, they just remain inactive when set that way.

interesting.

and yes, bison, they are nice aside from the edge planets that look like they go into shadow, but become transparent. Beyond that, nice. Granted, I prefer the images with some other objects (like the listening post above) to add some reference or illustrate an idea.

Correct, The Rez on a netbook is way below that of a PC or laptop. But there is a mod that will run Sins with DS for a netbook, just got to turn down all graphics and on small to  medium maps...Had to turn off the wi-fi, anti-virus, and the explorer.exe to run the program to do screen caps...Bison....

geez... almost wonder why bother doing all that. I didn't think netbooks were THAT much cheaper than laptops. Convenient though.

In any case, I like the dark styling you have given that your guys are suppose to be all evil and sinister and such. Boogah boogah!

This one was done on the main PC, This represents the ocean moon in orbit of Finley IV with the savannah moon in the background.

The debris is what's left of various orbital structures destroyed by the nuke. The actual debris is two different wrecked station debris and a wrecked Xenon warship from X3 Terran Conflict...The picture does no justice when you see it in motion, the planets rotate as if you are really in orbit with the clouds swirling around. Truly gorgeous graphics....Bison...
