How to activate a Demigod?

I was wondering the same it's not in the games list for download or registration.

It is in "View History" of Impulse. But nobody told me that I should do all that, except for that post of Cowbuttzex.

Stardock, make an official post post please, what are you guys doing? New players cant just figure it out on their own.

I did get a new serial but the download section is empty or blank. I can see Oculus on Single player but unselectable. where do i input the serial that i got from oculus? thank you

This is just stupid. It is like they are making it deliberately difficult for us to enable him, and then they dont tell us anything.

Just like Demon Assassin, you'll have to log into multiplayer at least once in order for Oculus to be playable.

and how do I get Demon Assassin? *looks puzzled*

You should already have him.

OK, just to combine everything into one place, here's what you have to do:

-Update Demigod.
-Right-click on Demigod in Impulse, and select 'View History'.
-Follow the link in the History, and follow the instructions there, using the email address that you have Demigod registered to.
-Run Demigod, and log into multiplayer.

Did you possibly register Demigod to a different email address?

Why should we have to jump through so many hoops to get these new Demigods? First it was Demon Assassin (which I have NEVER been able to unlock in singleplayer, even after following all the suggestions. Thankfully he's just not worth playing anyways.) where you had to login to multiplayer or run as administrator or whatnot.

Now you have to add Oculus to your account before you can play him.

Why can't all this be done through the patch? Unless this is some form of battling piracy or you're taking a census on how many people still play the game.

Fortunately I still read these forums because if I didn't I might never know how to get these new demigods.

I love Stardock and all but this is just dumb. Just give us a patch that unlocks them for everyone and be done with it.

They're testing the system for purchasing Demigods in the future. How could regular forum posters not realize this? It's a good thing it's free; could you imagine spending money with this system?

However, it's still a dumb idea. With all the problems that have plagued this game since release if I were SD/GPG I would be making any process as painless as possible and totally transparent to the user as another poster said in another thread. For me, it just adds to the frustrations with this game (that I still enjoy playing; either singleplayer or over LAN).

Also, no, I can't imagine anyone wanting to spend money to get a new Demigod. I can't imagine they would make any money on it. But I could be shortsighted on that. More power to them if they can pull it off.

nope, the demon assassin is still greyed out, as the Oculus. Is there no way to redeem the code in the game? Looks like a dumb system to me. I used the same emailadress as I registered/bought demigod and all my other impulse games too.

I still don't want to rule out that I am too dumb for this to work...

i just entered email adress on the website and clicked accept, ran demigod, logged into multiplayer, boom occulus unlocked in single+multi

We haven't announced yet the addition of Oc. Right now, it's just tech savvy users who are able to add him.

can some1 tell me where i got to put the serial number that i get from Stardock Corporation that unlocks Oculus?

u dont do anything with serial number, just go to website, enter email address, click ok, then open demigod GG

i did that but i still cant choose Oculus on Multi or singel player.
