Hi all. I am currently playing a single player game. I am using the balanced resources map in the large maps. It is an 8 man ffa 100 planets 1 star. I am a few hours into this game and I keep getting lag pauses frequently.The lag didnt start happening until recently. I guess it is because everyone has large fleets and such.

My system has a quad core amd phenom 9550. 6gig ram nvideo gforce 9100 card.

I am wondering on what all I can do do reduce the lag spikes. The game just freezes for a few seconds every minute or so
