Sins Diplomacy Crash on Startup

I just purchased and installed Diplomacy via Impulse, but whenever I try to start it it does not work; I get a black screen with the Sins cursor, but nothing else. I have to alt-tab out of the game and I am then told that it has crashed and that a minidump has been produced. Can anybody give me a hand here?

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium with an nVidia GTX 260, if that helps at all.

I'm having the same problem, I also have a GTX 260, Windows 7 Ultimate.

:EDIT: Just needed to run updates on Sins and Entrenchment. Works fine now.

I'm having this problem as well. I have updated all three games and even uninstalled an reinstalled them and impulse, but i'm still having the problem.

i'm using windows 7 home premium 64bit and a GeForce GTS 250
