After playing a little Star Trek Amada 2 this afternoon, I decided that some of the gameplay options it allows you to set would fit Sins rather nicely, so I figured I'd make a suggestion thread about it.
1. Adjust Firepower: Low/Normal/High
A set modifier to all weaponry ingame, with low being for players looking for more time to micromanage fleets, use abilities, etc.., and high being the opposite, quick and brutal confrontations.
2. Trade Using Convoy: On/Off
Let's say you wanted to send another player some resources. Rather than the standard instantaneous transfers, this would result in your nearest Trade Port to that player spawning a convoy of trade freighters to physically carry those resources to the nearest Trade Port of that player, preferably not going directly through that damn Pirate base.

There's a few others involving modifiers for the the global and AI build costs/speeds that I was going to include, but the game already allows changing the income speeds, and the new AIs cheat anyways, so it's somewhat covered already and I chose to exclude it.
Anyways, thoughts? Opinions? I don't care too much about the Trade Convoy thing, just thought it was 'neat', but I would love to see a global firepower option, to better let me pick a match to suit my mood.
