The AI's I've played against so far seem geared toward capital ships, occasionally having more capital ships than frigates. And after they build all of those capital ships, instead of sending them out to fight, they just shuttle back and forth between planets for up to hours. Another issue, several enemy Kodiaks disappeared off of the screen, but the galaxy tab still said they were there. It stayed like this for the entire game.
