So yea i was playing a game and then a bunch of pirates attacks and almost destroys my entire fleet including my flag but then suddenly they retreat. Why? Is it because i destroyed their strongest ship or did they just finish their mission?
That is odd. Pirates don't retreat unless the system is empty normally.
I remember when I was a noobie playing sins. I had only 1 fleet with all of the ships I made. Then, Pirates jumped in, and they jumped out as fast as they jumped in. I was like LOL.
I think if you have a big enough fleet they run away.
No they don't. Or at least they shouldn't.
This is incredibly odd behavior as they should fight to the last ship, unless everything is destroyed. Could it be mission based somehow with a mission sent to the pirates? Or were you sure it was a raid?
