By the time you have a level 6 Coronata you will likely field enough bombing and culture repel power to colonize any wiped out enemy world the normal way, making the Coronata a gloryfied expensive colony ship.
This is not very thought out and lacks intelligence (i don't mean your stupid so don't get a fit and go all monkey lord on me).
Your thinking is trying to justify the coranata's ultimate ability is useless because you don't see its application clearly.
As a result your reason is far fetched and extends towards situational factors that you think determine its uselessness.
You speak of expensive culture investments that have the same application as repossession--but you forget the rate of change of culture, the time required to capture with culture and the return on investment.
As a result you have also judged the coranata as an expensive colony ship-a wortheless attempt at best and a weaker technique of trolling without solid theories to back them that have practical applications.
The money spent on culture is broken into different realms, rate of change, rate of spread, negation etc.... each with a research tech. Then you have global unity to replace culture temples and investments in culture starbases.
Investment into a few of these first and saving credits for fleets is what any pro advent player would do. While culture spreads through out the galaxy then its up to your fleet and its titan to push forward as a front line assault. You cannot and should not assume culture planet take overs are superior to the coranata. They only backup the coranata's suppression ability and itse;f in terms of shield mitigation plus phase missile block.
Once a coranata has the level 6 ability it can capture worlds Important: that become culture temples thanks to global unity. Your concept of uselessness is a broken 1..lacks intellect and experience ( i don't mean your stupid so don't get a fit and go all monkey lord on me).
Its all about phase missile block and shield mitigation gains. Regarldless of whether the planet can be bombed again is up to the player.. you manually choose when to reposses. It doesn't matter what happens after that. Your objective is to not waste time and to destroy the enemy and if taking there planet quickly to gain the culture benefits suits you then do so. How fast an enemy can bomb the planet down is a very silly thought out concept based on an IF statment. If the enemy has planet bombing frigates? If the enemy turns its back on your fleet and unity mass to bomb the planet(very stupid idea) or hangs around to face your fleet in the first place(very stupid idea) will determine the rest of the game.
Your analysis just needs work.
I like you ARESIV but you get a little too excited sometimes and miss a few steps
