So, I will be updating this at some point in the future when free time can be found. I plan to make a pretty hefty enhancement mod that 'theoretically' should be awesome. For the moment, I'm just going to slap a hap-hazard list down below which will be updated at some point, along with a proper title. Hopefully it would be applied over top of Distant Stars, which currently is still in their Rebellion Alpha stage.
Consider this my scribbled sticky note:
-Titans set as Heavy Capital Ships (will use Capital Ship mechanics) @ 50% Mesh Scale
-Titan gain from leveling shrunk to 1/10th at each interval. Lvl 1 - 2 (on old scale) is new leveling range. With Titan Stat buffs = Tech Tree Unlocks
-Capitals & Heavy Capitals produced @ Cap Ship Fact. using Titan Fact. Model @ 50% Scale.
-Capitals & Heavy Capitals both use Titan armor.
-Frigates, Corvettes & Cruisers produced @ Frigate Fact. using Capital Fact. Model @ 75% Scale
-Sub-Factions Combined - 'Choice to Split in Tech Tree + Related Research?'
-Mines Reworked: No longer Invulnerable (anti-matter ability that can be depleted?), Larger Detection Range for Explosions. Scouts can neutralize mines so they don't explode with passive ability.
-LAC defenses that use the Frigate Factory / Hanger model. Use Homing Mine / (Maelstrom roving asteroid) mechanics. Won't leave gravity well. (scout/trade ship[Vas], corvette/snubbed flak[TEC], scout/trade?[Adv] ship meshes @ 50%) TEC Ex: [LRM missile effects, plus Akkan laser effect for anti-strike craft]. Slowest ship speeds (similar to trade or slightly faster, can be kited. Auto-produced via anti-matter ability, ref mine files. LACs use Corvette Armor. Frigate weapons.
-Light Carriers reduced to one squadron. Costs = 65% reduction. Fleet Supply = 30% reduction. HP = 65% reduction.
-Fighters/Bombers reduced hp 50%. Fighter damage reduced 50%. Bomber damage reduced 25%. Fighters speed reduced by 20%. Bombers speed reduced by 35%. Fighter mass reduced 30%. Bomber mass reduced 20%
-Strikecraft combat/non-combat construction slowed 50%. Light Carrier anti-matter restoration rate reduced 50%.
-Corvette/Frigate/Carrier/Capital/Heavy Titan, Flack (point defence) Ability research (equivalent of 1 Flak Canon or 1 Flak Canon).
-AutoDock Strikecraft
-Fix Planet Bonus Icons, Expand Planetary Bonuses. Expand Planetary Research + add additional Artifacts.
-Buff Deliverance Engine. Reduce Novalith Damage, Tweak Kostura.
-'Push the limits' by Enigma for Menu Song.
-Updated boshimi336's Multiple Stars Graphics Mod [90% completed, not published] Inclusion
-Expanded Random Encounters Mod [90% complete, no published. Credit Goafan77 for original concept and work] Inclusion
-boshimi336's Weaker Ryat's More Power Pirates Mod [0% completed]. Pirate XP reduced by 50% Priority is no longe trade ships.
-Trade Ships give/carry 50% more resources when destroyed. Reduce quantity & production of ships 50%.
-Refinery ships give / carry 50% more resources when destroyed. Reduce quantity & production of ships 50%.
-Reduced require diplomacy levels for Cease-Fire, Alliance, etc ...
-Reorganize Ship Production buttons & cues as their current order bugs me.
-Use Sinperium's 'broken' ship graveyard models.
-Setup 'See Map' objects which explode after 5 seconds for custom map creation (see names on star chart).
-Change Metal & Crystal to 'Basic' & 'Advanced' resource descripters. Culture to something, maybe 'influence'?
-Siege Frigates & Capitals from Nukes to Landing Craft. Ability upgrade to allow 'chance of conversion' of structures. 'Will need to review possible enemy ship construction glitches'.
-Utilize 'Titan' classification for 'Hero' units which spawn 1 at a time on a 'randomized' rotation. Do not gain levels. Reference goafan77's 4X mod for inspiration.
-Include axxo2's loading screens if permission is granted.
-Give a +5 Armor bonus to Light Frigates mid-game to allow them to close properly with enemies.
