Rebellion: Error occurred while activating product

I've bought the game when it first came out and I've been playing it on my laptop for a while. I stopped playing and now I want to jump into it again but on my desktop. So I installed Rebellion from Steam and I keep getting an error.

After it performs first time set up (which happens every time I start the game), an error pops up saying: "An error has occurred while activating the product."

Could this be because I've already installed it on my laptop? Any help?

You have to have internet in order to register it. It's probably not because of you installing it on your laptop.

You have to log in to Stardock's servers in order to gain access to your game. You have to login using the your Stardock-rgistered email and your password.

If those fail, have Steam check your game chache, or email [email protected] They'll be ale to help you.
