I can not figure what has to be done after pressing the turn button what must be done to enable it again. Also somewhere along in the game the resolution appeared to change and I could not seen the whole universe without scrolling.
It sounds like your game is stopping at the Wait part of turns, where the AI continues their turn. If your resolution changed most likely your Prefs.ini was deleted. Starting the game and setting your resolution again would create that file again.
