Spear of Adun

Hey everyone,

I've made a Starcraft mod for personal use only using the game's models, and with Legacy of the Void coming out I also managed to get my hands on the Spear of Adun. I tried adding it to the mod but it keeps crashing the game. It might have something to do with the fact that it's polycount is 170.513. Though I did manage to make a good mesh file of it and I've never had this before so I'm really not sure. Could someone please help with this?

Seriously? Is there no way to mod the game or engine in any way to allow the model to be in the game?? Is there still even someone around here or am I talking to myself here?

StarCraft mode for Sins?

So it did work until you added that Spear of Adun? Perhaps you should try to mod that particular thing as replacement for one of the ingame meshes, without fecking around with anything else, just to be sure the mesh is the source of the issue.

170k polies exceeds the limit of the Sins engine as far as I know. To my knowledge the upper limit for a mesh file is somewhere around 50k'ish. I'm assuming you used the 3ds to generate the mesh file which most likely isn't aware of these limits.
